I think there was also a lot of inertia against Libs then as they were prety stale in government and everyone had such high hopes for the milkybar kidBlack Orchid wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:17 amIt was a massive campaign directed at the Chinese that lost Howard his seat of Bennelong.

Yes but it was the campaign aimed at the Chinese that changed the tide.

In the video, Mr Daley can be seen telling an audience at a pub in the Blue Mountains that a "transformation" was underway in Sydney and young workers were being replaced by Asian immigrants.
Our young children will flee and who are they being replaced with? They are being replaced by young people from typically Asia with PhDs," Mr Daley can be heard saying in a video.
"There’s a transformation happening in Sydney now where our kids are moving out and foreigners are moving in and taking their jobs.
Thanks for this Gordon

Will that automatically get you OFF the Dole or are you hoping for an extra 50 bucks a week?
I presume that you aren't a TAXPAYER because that is where the Government's money comes from. They don't have a hidden stash to throw around to entice you lot of leftards.

What annoys me is that what Daley said, and Foley before him, is perfectly true yet they are being silenced by their own party

I actually really like Chinese people and I very rarely meet any I don't get on with but I agree, just too many of them now. Gotta say tho, if we MUST have non-whites for mass immigration, asians of all persuasions are my choice.Black Orchid wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 6:24 pmWhat annoys me is that what Daley said, and Foley before him, is perfectly true yet they are being silenced by their own party
BTW, Glady has handled this perfectly. She hasn't called him out for being a racist which would sound implausible and piss off Liberal voters who also think immigration levels are too high, but she called him out for hypocrisy and lying, because when he speaks to Chinese community leaders he tells them how valuable they are to Australian society.

I like them too but the simple fact is that here on the north side there are just far too many of them and Gladys is the one allowing them to buy up to 100% of all new unit blocks which I find incredibly wrong. Such unit blocks are popping up weekly and on this side of the Bridge Sydney is being overdeveloped to accommodate them.
I am outnumbered by about 8-1 and that is not diversity imo.

You are aware that this thread is about the NSW State Election, aren't you?
You are aware that it is the Federal Government, not the State or Territory Governments that control unemployment benefits?
You are aware that as a consequence, your points fall flat on their face?
