climate change has been happening ever since adam was a boy....its normal its natural...have we humans done a lot of dumb stuff you betcha are we still doing dumb stuff of course its what humans do but we are learning and we are evolving and we are changing I believe for the better..

not all of us for sure but it will happen.....in the mean time get your daughter to study science and find a way for us to live with climate change....how we can conserve the water that lashes our land from time to time yet we allow it to just run into the sea.....instead of channeling it into our river systems so they dont turn and kill the fish that live in them.....

I think she would serve mankind much better than marching with a placard....quite a few had misspellings as well...

I haven't taught her much, beyond having the ability to think. I taught her to look at the causal chain of events to discover what causes things, Cods. Something I note you and others have usually criticised me for. Funny that, hey? Man has been spewing CO^2 and other industrial gases into the atmosphere for over 200 years and yet many still think there is no effect. Funny that, hey?

My daughter is studying science at University, Cods. She is doing an Environmental Biology degree. She is a lot smarter than I am as far as Science goes.

I worked the Millenium. It was a real danger - not as great as the media made it out to be, but a real one for systems such as aircraft and radar, Cods. You obviously don't understand just how dangerous it would have been. I worked 80 hour weeks in the months before 1 January 2000. I was on duty for 24 hours on the day. You should be thankful I was working so hard for your benefit.

Al Gore is a fool but well meaning one. He was willing to put his name front and centre with this problem and publicise it. The world won't end but it will change quite drastically.
