Something clicked. Mary had twice asked her son if he had been a victim of abuse — something just didn’t feel right about her son’s behaviour — but he had always denied it.
A drug addicts mother can finally absolve herself of any blame for his choices in life, despite her adult sons own testimony.
I wouldn't trust an ABC leftwing propagandist and rabid anti-Catholic sectarian like Milligan any further than the spit that drools off Leftwinger Supremes bottom lip.

The acts were sexually graphic. Both victims were visibly and audibly distressed during this offending.
Was Kidd there in person when it happened? Was there video footage?

Kidd actually mentioned a couple of things that werent in the newspaper.....like one of the boys shouting or crying outloud ... wouldnt someone have heard??...I cant help thinking if the Archbishop disappeared from the church group even for a couple of minutes someone would have gone looking for him.....and when you hear what went on in that room pell actually hanging on to two 13 yr old boys...all the while dressed in cumbersome attire...knowing full well some adults could be around any moment.......it still doesnt add up to me...he would have been followed to that room by the persons responsible for helping him undress.. he would have had his trousers on no mention of them dropping..
I would like to have been in the jury room when they went over it all.

AND wasn't the door supposedly open to the Church during all of this?

I know it isn't an amusing matter, but what you have written there, Cods, conjures up something for a comedy sketch.
Can't you just see it? Pell in his cumbersome robes and him holding on to two 13-year-old boys, while he drops his (or their) pants and so forth ....

Was the trial fair?
Maybe the first trial stuffed up because there was a biased Catholic on the jury?
There's a lot they're not telling us.
We know nothing about the jury -
absolutely nothing.

Judges usually are correct.
Hanging is not an option for this crime

In Bobby's parallel universe it would be
except that reasonable doubt would not be good enough -
it would have to be -
no doubt whatsoever.
Like the James Gargasoulas case for the Bourke street massacre -
instant hanging in front of the court house would have happened
by a judge approved lynch mob.

The Victorian Police should have just shot that fluffy bunny ... some crims ask for "suicide by copper" and get it.
