Oh a "per-capita recession" because the economy's not keeping pace with population growth.'Hard landing’: Per-capita recession hits Australian economy
Easy fixed!
Halt immigration!
Hmmm, so seeing as Labor wants untold volumes of boat people to join our welfare queues, I 'spoze it's fair to say Labor desires a recession, or outright depression if they can achieve it?
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Oh dear!If wages and tips do not equal the federal minimum wage of $7.25 USD per hour during any week, the employer is required to increase cash wages to compensate.

I do wonder where the "USA working poor" expression comes from if its so friggin good!Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 2:14 pmSimply comparing minimum wages from country to country is incredibly flawed. It also varies state to state in the US but let's make it simple and say their minimum wage is $10.29 AUD. Quoting it in USD is misleading.
15-20% tipping is mandatory in the USA which you don't take into account. So add on 15-20%.
Maximum income tax rate in Australia is 47% whereas it is 37% in the US. The U.S. currently has seven federal income tax brackets, with rates of 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35% and 37%. We also have to pay a Medicare levy so add another 2% to ours.
Cost of living in the majority of the US is far cheaper than in Australia (unless you live in New York, Boston or LA).
Food is far far cheaper there than here. Housing is ridiculously much cheaper in the US than it is here.
Their infrastructure is better and most people live in 'rural' areas where the cost of living is not only cheap but everything you could want is only 10 minutes away. You can get a pizza or general takeaway delivered to your door almost no matter where you live.
This is what is inherently wrong with you lefties. You are too simple and think with your asses in your desperation for a rise in your dole payments.
Simple is as simple does and to blindly follow a simpleton like Shorten (who is apparently the best you have got) says it all. With that simpleton Daley (running in NSW) a close second. At least the righties criticised what they knew was NEVER right ... Turnbull.

They have over 300 million people more than we do so, of course, they have a 'working poor' ... as do we! Can you name a country that doesn't?

Mmm perhaps one of the Nordic Social Democrat Countries, although I dont know the finer details of how they look after their people!Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 4:31 pmThey have over 300 million people more than we do so, of course, they have a 'working poor' ... as do we! As has been said before. If you want to live in a socialist society go and live in Venezuela
Have you ever been to the USA? Even once? To any part? My bet is NO?
I am sure you would fit right into Arkansas
