58 per cent of Australian millennials Want Socialism

Post by The Mechanic » Sat Mar 02, 2019 5:34 pm

WTF?
Malcolm Roberts - Pauline Hanson's One Nation

How is it possible that 58 per cent of Australian millennials have a favourable view of socialism, with only 18 per cent having an unfavourable one.

"Political ideologues control our education system. We teach kids identity politics, and how to control the weather with light globes, but not the most important political lesson of the 20th Century."

Our education system is not only failing to teach history but ignoring the deaths of 100 million people at the hands of murderous socialist/communist ideologues.

What’s going on?

Part of the problem is plain ignorance. Most Millennials were hardly alive when Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union an “evil empire”.

According to the CIS poll, only 26 per cent of Millennials are familiar with Vladimir Lenin and 34 per cent with Joseph Stalin. Only 21 per cent of those questioned said they knew well who Mao was. Never mind that these men were responsible for the deaths of tens of millions and the impoverishment of hundreds of millions.

Whatever excuse explains Millennials’ ignorance of communism, they should at least know about Venezuela where the socialist regime of the past two decades has led to repression, an economy in free fall, widespread disease and starvation and mass emigration.

MAYBE THIS should have been in Australian Politics but you'll see with the CPAC thread that I put up that the exact same thing is happening in the United States.

Our education system has been taken over by radical leftist socialist all over the world...

Set in place by the UN...

We need to get out of the UN #Unexit

and we need to get control of our education system...

Australia was, in the 1970s, the second or third most Socialist nation on Earth. Of course, that was before the Economic Rationalists under Hawke and Keating got into power... Socialism works - Ownership of the Means of Production being vested in the State. Time we got back to our Socialist roots.

Simple. #1 they don't actually know what socialism is, and #2 they've been brainwashed/indoctrinated by politically motivated social vandals posing as teachers/educators.

The result is all the youth know is white man is bad but it's OK to be gay, and they can't read and write properly so can't properly research and discover facts for themselves. Communism aka socialism can only exist if those running it control the information, communications and beliefs the those they manipulate and lord over.

When the public backlash comes, regardless of whether the youth realise they've been conned and dumbed down, inciting a potential fascist revolution we need to round up all members of the Fabian Society and deal with them in a manner that's probably illegal to publicly express.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Really, "Nicole"? I suspect that poor ol' Yogi doesn't know or care about the differences between Socialism and Communism. To him, like all ignorant Right Wingers, they are one and the same. To real political scientists, there are considerable differences between the two. Socialism is about State involvement with the Economy, to ensure that services are provided at at equitable level and to prevent the formation of cartels (something by the way, Adam Smith warned was a natural consequence of capitalism) within markets without adequate competition. The role of Government is to keep people honest and without regulation and competition we see the present problems in the Australian power market - particularly in South Australia.

Ignorant right winger?

Well my grandfather claimed to be a communist, but had a house in Sylvania and a farm in the MacDonald Valley (near wiseman's Ferry)

My mother claimed to be a socialist feminist, but got my father to have a 6 bed room, 3 bath room, fully ducted air conned double brick mansion my mates called the Taj Mahal (arched windows & doorways) built and decked out with chandaleers and Spanish furniture, and drove a sports car in her $3000 rabbit fur coat.

I grew up with left wing politics brain storm, and that's why I know all its faults and can pick it to pieces.

Sounds to me like they were faux Communists. Me, I grew up in a three bedroom, working class cottage. I shared a bedroom with my two brothers until one of them moved out and after that, we all moved out. My father was a workingclass man, in a factory, making windows. Funny that, hey? Without Whitlam and his free education, I'd never have gone to university.
