Pakistan v India

Post by Black Orchid » Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:23 pm

Pakistan's air force has shot down two Indian warplanes, capturing one Indian pilot, after they crossed the boundary between the two nuclear-armed rivals in the disputed territory of Kashmir, a military spokesman said.

The dramatic escalation came hours after Pakistan said mortar shells fired by Indian troops from across the frontier dividing the two sectors of Kashmir killed six civilians and wounded several others.

Pakistan's army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistani troops captured the Indian pilot. One of the downed planes crashed in Pakistan's part of Kashmir while the other went down in an Indian-controlled section of the Himalayan region, he said.

"This was not a retaliation in true sense, but to say Pakistan has capability — we can do it, but we want to be responsible, we don't want an escalation, we don't want a war," he told a news conference.

In a separate statement, Pakistan's foreign ministry said it had hit a "non-military" target inside Indian-controlled Kashmir, but that it had avoided human loss and collateral damage.

"If India is striking at so-called terrorist backers without a shred of evidence, we also retain reciprocal rights to retaliate against elements that enjoy Indian patronage while carrying out acts of terror in Pakistan," the statement said.

Indian Air Force spokesman Anupam Banerjee in New Delhi said he had no information on Pakistan's statement.

Earlier, senior Indian police officer Munir Ahmed Khan said an Indian Air Force plane crashed in an Indian-controlled sector of Kashmir and it was not immediately known if there were casualties.

Another police officer, SP Pani, said firefighters were at the site in the Budgam area where the Indian warplane crashed. Eyewitnesses said soldiers fired into the air to keep residents away from the crash site.

According to local Pakistani police official Mohammad Altaf, the six fatalities in Wednesday's shelling included children. The shells hit the village of Kotli in Pakistan's section of Kashmir.

This may not end well.

Let them f*ck each other. Both countries suck; are full of nuggets.
The one that says the least can often have a very different perspective and hold the answer. The least qualified person may hold the most wisdom. When you don’t have knowledge or experience blocking your perspective, you can see problems and solutions.

Possibly a cure for the world's overpopulation

They could bomb the world back to sustainable population and get rid of really nasty people at the same time.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

India would win.

When push comes to shove.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Only a nuclear war would escalate and turn into a world war
and a mass extinction event affecting all of us.

Would that be so bad?

It would show that our own intelligence as human beings
would be the key to our destruction and then the end of life on this planet.
It would also show why we don't find aliens anywhere from other planets -
species intelligent enough to make nuclear weapons wipe themselves out.

The best thing that can happen to this planet is for manunkind to be wiped out.

‘With a massive Nuclear War it wouldn’t kill everyone - the preppers and hunters will survive.

City Slickers haven’t got a hope - they think Milk, Meat and Vegitable magically appear on supermarket shelves.

I would struggle myself these days - but if i was able to find a gun and ammunition i think i could do ok.
