Venezuelans Now Regret Giving Up Their Guns to Socialist Chavez Regime
Joseph Stalin’s firearms registration and confiscation was a tremendous success for the Socialist state.
Under the Tsar, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. That all changed when Stalin and the communists took control. Stalin was able to control, starve, punish and imprison a defenseless people… after he took their guns. (Zinnfigur)
This video is a shocking reminder on how Stalin was able to control, starve, punish and imprison a defenseless people.
It’s no secret that Democrats are hoping to repeat this history here in the United States.
Today in Venezuela the citizens regret giving up their guns to the Socialist Chavez regime.
The Truth About Guns reported:
In 2012, Venezuela’s dictator-for-life President Hugo Chavez had his rubber stamp legislature pass the Control of Arms, Munitions and Disarmament Law. The public generally supported it at the time. The law stripped law-abiding Venezuelans of every firearm and round of ammunition they could legally own.
As the country and its citizens have increasingly benefitted from the wonders of Bolivarian socialism, it appears that the public now regrets their support for total civilian disarmament.
“Guns would have served as a vital pillar to remaining a free people, or at least able to put up a fight,” Javier Vanegas, 28, a Venezuelan teacher of English now exiled in Ecuador, told Fox News. “The government security forces, at the beginning of this debacle, knew they had no real opposition to their force. Once things were this bad, it was a clear declaration of war against an unarmed population.”
If only the citizens of Venezuela had the right to keep and bear arms as a check against government tyranny.
Once again, another nation demonstrates what can and frequently does happen to a disarmed populace. The despotism pushed by the authoritarian ruling class can proceed full force, with no realistic threat of opposition from the people they subjugate.

well I guess dying fast does have its merit.... at the moment they are starving to death or dying from lack of medication...
perhaps a bullet would make sense......the battle of the Alamo fight to the death....
I disagree entirely guns are not the answer.

According to Wikipedia, Venezeala has similar gun laws to Australia. Funny how gun nuts continually portray them as being unreasonable when in reality, they work rather well. Today, there are more privately owned firearms in Australia than before Port Arthur. Australia has hardly been disarmed.

All the best leaders disarmed their people
Adolph Hitler
Stalin
howard the coward
Disarm the people and they cannot fight oppression.
And as the Australian grubberment now believe they have us disarmed
They are screwing us into the ground.
Bring on the REVOLUTION.

The idea that Hitler disarmed the German and other peoples under his control is laughable. Germany was at war, as was the other nations that the Germans conquered. There were plenty of guns, particularly towards the end of the war, for everybody. Indeed, the guns were so plentiful that when the war ended, most just got shuffled away, into attics and down into basements. In the case of the Netherlands in particular, when they were filming "A Bridge Too Far" in the late 1970s, the old resistance fighters were quite willing to play their part, they had the weapons and everything...
