Transgender Queensland police officer raises rainbow flag.

IN a historic moment for Queensland Police, the LGBTI Rainbow flag has been raised above police headquarters on Roma Street for the first time.

Transgender Constable Mairead Devlin raised the flag this morning to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT).

Mr Devlin said he was proud to be part of the occasion.

“I felt humbled and proud,” Mr Devlin said.

“I’m very glad to have been given the opportunity to have raised it today.

“From the day I came out, [police] management have been very supportive.”

Acting Deputy Commissioner Mike Condon said the flag-raising ceremony was an important way to show the community that the police force is an inclusive workplace.

“I think it’s very important as an organisation that we are inclusive and take on board the welfare of the person,” Mr Condon said.

“This has got nothing to do with politics.

“This is about ensuring that we’re seen as a workplace of choice where people can join our organisation, regardless of who they are, and feel free to operate and act professionally as a police officer to serve the community.”

Apparently there is a site for transgenders who regret changing their sex and want to change back to what they were born as!

I saw this person, Walter Heyer, speaking to Andrew Bolt the other night.

Walt Heyer: Yeah, well, I started out as a transgender kid, at least they would say that today, at 4 years old. The problem is that they’re diagnosing kids like I was with gender dysphoria when they don’t have gender dysphoria; they’re just curious about gender, which we all should be, curious about gender.

And so it led me to a point of thinking that I needed a gender change. And then one of these experts in gender dysphoria diagnosed me with gender dysphoria and said I needed hormone therapy and surgery. As you can see from standing here, they were totally wrong because I was born a boy.

And I went through all the surgery and became Laura Jensen and lived eight years as a female to discover that nobody needs to change genders. It’s absolutely a totally bogus procedure, not only from the standpoint of hormone therapy and surgery. The people are suffering from comorbid disorders that need to be addressed and treated; and if they did so, we wouldn’t have any transgenders.

what do children know about the difference between boys and girls?....no adult can possibly think like a child.....what makes us think because they enjoy playing with dolls they want to be a girl...


so much damage is being done now...because some seriously sick individuals make a a living out of this....

Like men in dresses wanting to play sport against real women and where more sportswomen need to speak out because they will be the ones who are heard, real experts in these fields need to speak out about the damage these 'pseudo experts' are causing to people's lives.

By 'real' I mean those with ethics and morality towards children.
