Its sad
My mother was the same
Chucked down Bex and Vincent’s powders all the time
And when she had a heart attack and knee operation, she refused to help herself
Over time she made dad push her wheel chair everywhere
She just sat
Then her kidneys failed
She died about 15 years ago.
I know right. The first days I cried a lot, but then she started being super ANNOYING and insults us all the time, says nasty shit that we don’t care about her, she attacks my sister (her daughter). I mean, I know other ill people that have humility. My mother never had it, and now it’s like every bad quality in her character - is MULTIPLIED by x50.
She ate bad shit - now she eats more bad shit.
She swore - now she cusses even more.
She was lazy - now she moves even less.
She didn’t give shit about other people’s feelings - now she completely forgot about us.
I know that some of the behaviors she’s pretending, she’s not that bad. But she takes an advantage of the situation to be the greatest PROFESSIONAL VICTIM ever. She behaves super calm in front of outside people and medical supervisors, but inside home it’s a fucking bomb BLAST.

I am so sorry to hear your family is living with that flex.
there is no cure sadly... in times like that its up to the person to want to improve and if they dont nothing med science can do for them..
my one dread is a stroke... being left helpless and a burdon...the thought terrifies me....no I am no where fit at all....I can walk but not far...dodgy heart and breathing probs....but yes I could eat a whole lot better.....having read your pain I will make more effort in that dept.....I wouldnt wish that on anyone its cruel what some of us do....I wish you and your family well mate...be strong for each other..mum will do what shes always done and I would say is beyond helping...let her have what she wants without nagging its far too late...she s junkie
sorry!

I can’t right now think about my mother because my grandmother’s condition is worsening from the stress, and if my grandmother drops, my sister’s drunkard abusing father will most certainly go to Court, say my mother is psychologically unstable and unable to care for the kid, and he’ll get rights over her and send her to her other grandma, some wacko in a village somewhere deep inside the Balkans.
See how one thing can lead to so many others.
Don’t eat meat, don’t eat too much salt, exercise regularly, drink lots of waters, forget about sugar, sugary foods and drinks and sodas, and eat veggies and fruit. That’s what I would say.

My family thought they’re all IMMORTAL. They never thought about the future. Lived immature unhealthy lives. I don’t know what to say.

Sorry to hear that mate.
Stroke generally means the left brain controlling motor function and rationality/reason has been damaged.
Despite the unhealthy lifestyle it is feasible/possible to train the right brain to resume the left brain’s functions .. at least partially anyway. To reduce further nervous/brain system damage eliminate monosodium glutamate (MSG) - soy products, mushrooms, tomatoes. Coconut oil can repair nervous system damage caused by canola/mustard/rape seed oil, so might help with stroke induced damage too … might be worth researching.
Thanks. She doesn’t take any advice. Starts screaming. She only eats dairy and very oily shit. 3 days ago she wanted my grandma to cook her a super disgusting sausage, I was gonna throw up, it was so fucking OILY and she ate it. I mean, she was always like that and now it’s even STRONGER. It’s like she knows it’s the end for her and she wants to please her BELLY for the last time.
I mean, after her stroke,
I stopped smoking, started going out more, started eating veggies and fruits more and I started being more THANKFUL that I have a life and good health. But some people never get it. That it’s sometimes a SIGN - to change something.
Good.
Also try a good local Church or yoga ?

Can’t afford a solicitor right now. Fate will decide what happens.

Don’t like churches. I’m not a believer anymore. And I don’t like yoga. I did Karate before, now I’m trying myself at BJJ.
