My mum got a stroke - she's disabled

Post by FLEKTARN » Sat Feb 16, 2019 12:33 pm

I didn't know if I were to announce that because it's kinda personal, but I thought I'd say it, hope for the best to change people's lives. Someone might read that one day and commit to bringing his life around for the better.

My mum, got an ischemic attack, also called a mini-stroke, at 47. She's very obese, 92 kg at 162 cm of height. Lots of cigarettes, mate. Two packs a day, chain smoking. Lots of bacons, ribs, salo, oily foods basically, super oily. Lots of milk, dairy, sugary foods, shit foods and no veggies or fruit whatsoever in her diet. Lots of Coca-Cola though. Lots.

We got the flu, all of us. The whole country had a month of flu epidemic basically, but my mother, because of all that I guess, her unhealthy condition, took the heaviest hit.

Ambulance took her, made her a ton of tests, CT scan, MRI, all confirmed it.

She can't lift her left arm very high up, sleeps all day basically, can't talk properly, mixes words, can't walk, she jumps instead of walking, and the worst thing is - her behavior changes for the worse. She yells all the time, speaks about demons and shit, snaps over nothing, can't stand music or other noise.

She's done. So take this as a very good example - what could happen, to anyone, at any age, if one's arrogant and unhealthy.

Thank you but no need to feel sorry. She got that by herself. Was very arrogant, said that veggies are shit - numerous times. She had a lot of chances in life to fix things, but she decided not to. She lied to people, insulted people, brought being an antagonist to a whole different level. Now she left my little sister on my, and my grandmother's hands.

That's enough of a problem for me. For us. Stupid and irresponsible but that's people. People never learn. At least most of them.

Sorry to hear that Flek, especially the fact that you and your grandmother are being left with the fallout of your mother's bad choices.

I hope your little sister is sensible enough not to follow in her footsteps.

Very sad for her and what a burden she is for her family.
It's a tragedy.

Sorry to hear that mate.

Stroke generally means the left brain controlling motor function and rationality/reason has been damaged.

Despite the unhealthy lifestyle it is feasible/possible to train the right brain to resume the left brain's functions .. at least partially anyway. To reduce further nervous/brain system damage eliminate monosodium glutamate (MSG) - soy products, mushrooms, tomatoes. Coconut oil can repair nervous system damage caused by canola/mustard/rape seed oil, so might help with stroke induced damage too ... might be worth researching.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Its sad
My mother was the same
Chucked down Bex and Vincent's powders all the time
And when she had a heart attack and knee operation, she refused to help herself

Over time she made dad push her wheel chair everywhere
She just sat
Then her kidneys failed
She died about 15 years ago.

It's not the disabled person who suffers the most
My 75 year old father had to do everything for her
As well as push the wheelchair everywhere.
He did this until he was nearly 80.

Dad loved mom
But he pushed himself and blamed himself for her problems.
It was so sad.

I loved my mom
I loved my dad
But she was selfish.

Sorry to hear about your mom
Hope she gets better quickly
My grandfather overcame his stroke at 85 and lived a reasonably happy life for the few years he had left.
It's not a death sentence, and with some effort you can overcome it.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

She’ll not. Cries often, but I’m distracting her from the constant shit by teaching her English. Thanks, by the way.

Her whole life - she was OUT with the wrong people. And influenced by her drunkard father. Like I said, it’s sad, but it’s life. What keeps me going is me BELIEVING there are people who are actually WORSE, in a WORSE position in life, like homeless, with AIDS, etc.

Thanks. She doesn’t take any advice. Starts screaming. She only eats dairy and very oily shit. 3 days ago she wanted my grandma to cook her a super disgusting sausage, I was gonna throw up, it was so fucking OILY and she ate it. I mean, she was always like that and now it’s even STRONGER. It’s like she knows it’s the end for her and she wants to please her BELLY for the last time.

I mean, after her stroke, I stopped smoking, started going out more, started eating veggies and fruits more and I started being more THANKFUL that I have a life and good health. But some people never get it. That it’s sometimes a SIGN - to change something.
