Our experiences differ. Why do you assume you are the "be all and end all of knowledge about Islam"? Your experience has, I suggest been with Lebanese Muslims? My experience has been with a wide range, from Turkish, through Pakistani, India, Malay and Indonesian Muslims. All are different in their approach to matters of assimilation but all have assimilated successfully. My Turkish compatriot now considers himself "more Aussie than Turkish." He umpires Aussie Rules games at a semi-professional level, his daughter serves in the Australian Army, just as he did. His son is a normal, Australian, working-class male. So, to claim that "Islamic culture is incompatible with Western culture."Islamic culture is incompatible with Western culture," IMO a falsehood.
