it's about normal everyday Australians who will have to sell the family
home to pay a new tax.
It's about the loss of property under a communist ideology.

Australian families only own their assets while they are alive, Bobby. Once they're dead, they're dead. As Australian seniors have to sell their homes anyway, to pay for their seniors' care, I don't think these supposed "Death Taxes" are going to hurt them all that much, as far as property is concerned.

Of course, that is if the ALP is even considering the reintroduction of "Death Taxes", which I severely doubt. Discussing it, doesn't mean anything more than a discussion. You know, the left wing Unions say, "Hey, we want to reintroduce Death Taxes!" To which the Parliamentary executive looks at it and says, "Nah. Never going to happen. We want to get elected." I know a family that will get ripped to pieces by this -
their father died and the 3 "children" could never get more
than a few part time jobs between them so
never managed to get on the property ladder.
That's where they live as adults with their aging mother.
If they have to sell the house when their mother dies
it will destroy them.
