Royal Commission result:

Post by Bobby » Mon Feb 04, 2019 6:51 pm

The end result - a whitewash -

not one thief named at the royal commission.

I expected a list of 100s if not 1000s of thieves to be named -
rounded up and charged.
Looks like those thieves got away it.

What a waste of my taxpayers money.
I wanted justice.

Will there be somewhere one can READ what happened? Should be but could take a few days or so.

Dunno - I just summed it all up in one sentence
from watching the ABC 24 news.

Several institutions have been referred to corporate regulators so criminal charges could well arise from that.

They might.
I was sort of hoping for names.

It's probably a bit premature for names. They will need to sift through to find who is who and who did what.

The fact is that we already had a regulator with strong powers but they did almost nothing.
To me it seems that if you have a suit and tie on you can getaway with theft.
Street thieves get jail and corporate thieves get luxury houses and yachts.

The Royal Commission found there are problems and now it is up to the Regulators to point the finger. These are huge institutions Bobby. Not individuals or small organisations.

Why isn't the regulator held to account for criminal negligence for
allowing the rorts to happen?
What are their names?
If you're paid to do a job you have accepted money to do that job -
if you haven't done your job then it's fraud.
