.. Labor splash cash everywhere but then when the Liberals come back into power and try and balance the budget they get howled down for cutting and slashing..
That's what worries me the most. The amount of cutting and slashing that the LNP will have to do for a decade after Bill has been kicked to the kerb.

This is just economically Stupid.

Robbing the self funded retiree only to put them back on the pension.

So taking money with one hand via their dirty TAX and then having to give it back as a pension.

You wont be able to take your super in a lump sum anymore - it’ll be kept in the account and paid back to you as a weekly amount as their pension - this will save Pensioners blowing the lot on an expensive car or whatever and then putting their hand out for a pension.

But if the Government wants to make people “self funded” retirees via super funds then said Government MUST keep their greedy mits out of the super funds - the money in them are Taxed three times before you get your hands on it.

But this is the thing - Greedy Governments trying to buy votes by splashing cash all around leaving Australia in Debt - so then they try to TAX their way out of it which only KILLS the economy.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

I think you're talking more about the Tories, Bobby.

Remember when they promised they'd fix the ALP "debt problem"? Funny how they've doubled the debt since then...

Both parties have borrowed to the extreme.

Maybe if they didn't we'd be in a 1929 type depression?

Most, if not all of our debt has been on waste.

Pink Bats
TV set top boxes
School Halls program
Million dollar tuck shops no bigger than a single car garage
1 Billion dollars NOT to build a road that we desperately need
Child Care
Australian built Submarines
Government Building contracts whereby even the tearoom cleaner gets $125,000 a year
Desal plants not in use - blow up the first time they get turned on
North/South pipelines gathering rust

I could go on all day long
