Why isn't Trump in gaol, Mechie? He has lied to the American public and to the world. He has caused major disruptions to not only the American but the world's economy. He has decided to withdraw American troops from Syria, despite Daesh not being defeated. He is opening the Kurds up for Turkish retribution. Bush senior was severely criticised the last time the US set the Kurds up to fail (during the Iran-Iraq war). He is doing what Putin wants him to. He increasingly appears to be agent of Russia. I suppose they are paying him more money than the US is.
Why isn't howard the coward in gaol for war crimes?
howard the coward took Australia to war without Senate approval.
This is a clear and obvious breach of the Australian constitution.
Therefore he is a despot who has committed a war crime which resulted in the death of many Australian soldiers.
Care to provide a reference to where in the Australian Constitution the Senate is required to approve the Government's decisions to go to war, Valkie?
I'd like a reference number, quoting chapter and verse, please.
To save you the trouble of actually searching for a copy of the Constitution,
here is it's full text. Off you go! I look forward to your quoting it, please.
howard the coward SHOUKD die in gaol.
Trump is to be applauded
He is the man
Howard has committed no war crimes, Valkie, despite what you'd like for him. I am not an overly great fan of him, either but I'd rather he was gaoled for a real crime rather than one merely in your imagination. Trump OTOH is looking for quite a fall. He will more than likely be only the second el Presidente' impeached by the US Congress for "crimes and misdemeanours".

So your saying that any prime minister can take Australia to war without Senate approval?
howard lied, he called it a policing action when it was a war.
howard the coward lied about anything and everything
But his biggest was the war that resulted in the death of many brave men.
Simply because his bum chum boyfriend wanted him to.
He SHOUKD be put in gaol and the key thrown away.
He destroyed Australia
He destroyed workers rights
He was a grub not worthy to lick the boots of a sewer worker

Labor supported it so it doesn't really matter who was in charge at the time.

It does actually
As prime minister he had an obligation to get Senate approval.
But howard the coward was so engrossed in his own self importance.
He sent many brave young men to their deaths.
He was a scum, a grub
He deserves a cowards death, slow and painful, preferably in gaol.

Yes. I'm not surprised that you're talking out of your arse, Valkie. It is all you ever do. Hawke, under pressure from the MSM and the public took his "declaration of war" to the Parliament in 1991. He wasn't required to but everybody was impessed by what they saw happening in Washington so wanted to do it in Canberra as well. Howard was not required to take the issue to either house of Parliament, so he didn't.
howard lied, he called it a policing action when it was a war.
Yes, he did lie. He also lied about the justification for the War in 2003. Just as Ming the Merciless did in 1965. Seems to be a Tory habit. Ming always claimed it was because of our, "SEATO commitments" to South Vietnam. If you read the SEATO treaty, South Vietnam isn't a member and we had no commitment to that nation. It was an "area of special interest" (and defined as such in the treaty).

Well, I am unsure who his "bum chum boyfriend" was, Valkie. Howard was a typical Tory. He didn't care for workers' rights, he only care for the Big End of Town's rights. I once sat opposite to Tim Fischer at an official dinner in 2006. He asked me my opinion of Howard and what did people in Perth think of him. He agreed with me that Howard had stayed on too long and that he was going to get "done" in 2007. Howard had an agenda and he tried to implement that. Problem was the people of Australia weren't interested in his agenda and so he lost his own seat.

Did he? I challenged you to find where that was required in the Australian Constitution. You failed dismally, Valkie. Simply repeating a lie does not make it any truer. Until you can show me where in the Constitution the Execute is required to get "Senate approval" for a decision to go to war, you're just talking bullshit, as per usual. Tut, tut.

I think you will find that the PM does not need parliamentary approval with regard to military action.
Who was opposition leader at the time? Beazley? Beazley agreed with the decision 100% so no matter who was at the helm it would have had the same outcome.

Tim Fischer was one of the only politicians I ever had time for.
He was a true gentleman and statesman.
We have not had a statesman, one who could speak well and properly since Frazer ( who by the way, I hated)
howard could not string two words together without sounding like the idiot he was
And it went seriously down hill from there.
But uncle Tim.
I once saw him do a gentlemanly thing without fanfare, without cameras, without any media attention.
A young woman was struggling down the stairs with a pram at Toronga zoo.
I don't know why he was there, but his body guards just walked past the woman.
I was several paces behind Tim and was going to help her when I got there, but Tim, asked the woman quietly if she required assistance, she said yes, so he carried the pram to the bottom and said nothing more, tge woman thanked him and both went their seperate ways.
This was enough for me
Could you ever see that turd howard or any of the current lot of parasites doing the same?
howard the coward was is and always will be a self serving narcissist of biblical proportion
I have met him twice, both times he was a grub and thought only of himself.
Again
May he spend eternity in the lowest bowels of hell.
