......... “Today, the president offered both Democrats and Republicans the chance to meet for lunch at the White House. Unfortunately, no Democrats will attend,” said White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. “The president looks forward to having a working lunch with House Republicans to solve the border crisis and reopen the government. It’s time for the Democrats to come to the table and make a deal.” .............

the democrats are NOT part of the solution.

Pelosi is also trying to shut down the State of the Union Address citing Security is a problem due to the "Shutdown"
unfortunately for Pelosi, DHS called her out and said that there was NO issue with security and that Pelosi, or no one from her office even contacted them.
Pelosi caught telling boldfaced lies again.
the reason she doesn't want the Address to go ahead - is because it'll be broadcast far and wide by every media in the land and Trump will call out the "Democrats" on the wall, border security and for keeping the government shut down.
and who could ever forget the boos and groans by the democrats when Trump set up support for victims of illegal immigration crime
what a bunch of dirtbags
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

The scariest thing is that if something ever happened to both the President and the Vice President the line of succession would fall to the Speaker ... Pelosi

like I have commented in the Brexit thread in ozpol...
they vote against everything... but but but.... what is their solution...
thats right they dont have one,..
nothing surer trump will be voted out eventually...
and I for one expect the demons to win
but what will they do for America..
they have destroyed any credibility it ever had...
they have set an extraordinary pattern for the future...
I remember saying when two of our PMs were stabbed in the back..
this is a terrible bench mark to have set in place..... it is the future
and guess what????????????????????
I can see the future in America because rusted on Republicans wont forget any of this will they?
your country has been dragged into the gutter.of dirty politics.........that is going to take some getting over.

It's not only the US, Cods. Look at Australia, Britain, France etc. Everywhere the loony progressive far left are trying to get a stronghold.
I have more faith in the US in shedding these hypocritical parasites than any other country in the same position.

This is an excerpt from a Scottish friend (who is a Leftie).
Ever felt that you are on another planet from the 'law-makers'!? It sure is like that here, with the 'Brexit' situation going from bad to farcical. Doch likes to watch the Parliament Channel when something monumental is happening but my interest lasts for far less time than his does. In fact, it all reminds me of a rather poorly run school and a playground slightly in control of the bullies. Oh well, no doubt it will all ends in tears for some of us. It almost makes The Trump seems lucid and sensible!!!!
