I used to believe that too, but it turns out CO2 doesn't cause Global Warming.
Global Warming causes the oceans to expel CO2 from the water into the atmosphere.
An interesting claim. Two questions, what makes the Oceans warmer so that they then expel it's CO^2 into the atmosphere? What scientific proof have you to back the claim that CO^2 expelled by burning coal does not contribute to Global Warming?

Indeed! Good to see some honesty for a change .. keep it up it'll strengthen your character and earn you respect.

Sunshine.
As our solar system passes closer to the centre of our galaxy on its 25,980 year elliptic orbit it is exposed to higher levels of cosmic radiation which in turn charge up the sun.
To a lesser degree underwater volcanoes can (but may not be) play a part too.
When there is increased sun spot activity our planet is bombarded with higher levels of charged particles (mostly electrons and protons - which counter the balancing effect of neutrinos). Those electrons affect (sucks energy from) our magnetosphere allowing in more UV sunshine, and charges up/increases pressure of the magma.
If the magma is released under sea it warms the water, if it's released above ground the photochemical smog and ash has a balancing/neutralising affect by blocking out some of the increased sunshine.

As the axis shifts, which it does constantly (although about 20 years ago the rate of shift increase from roughly 10 miles per year to 20 miles, forcing aviation and sea navigators to recalibrate their compasses) the continents move into different climatic zones, so some places warm up and others cool down. That's why one side of Antarctica is melting while the other freezes over more.

The geological record. Which shows that every time the Earth has experienced Global Warming the heating preceded the CO2.

Numerous times in the past above ground volcanoes have released levels of CO2 far in excess of that we're experiencing now, and it didn't cause Global Warming. CO2 can feasibly cause CO2 but currently it's not.

CH4 (methane) which is 10 times more potent as a GHG can also cause Global Warming, causing veg Nazis to blame cattle burps and farts for GW/CC. AS a child, so 20 or more years prior to GW/CC doomsaying becoming a public issue, I was led to believe that if the under sea floor frozen methane clathrates thawed out, it would bubble to the surface into the atmosphere and cause run away global warming. Which is beyond the point of no return, now referred to as the "tipping point". In 2007 the Russian and Swedish navies found vast methane plumes in the oceans. So I took that to mean we had entered a run away global warming scenario, while the doomsayer activists are banging on about preventing a more than 2 degree C temp increase as if it was achievable. It's not.

NO2 (nitrous oxide) is 240-314 time more potent as a GHG than CO2. It's released every time it rains, waves break at the beach, at the base of water falls, and every time a farmer fertilises their crops. If GW/CC was anthropogenic the only GHG causing it in any meaningful way is NO2.

Human contribution to GW/CC is miniscule compared with that of nature.
90% of CO2 on this planet is caused by zooplankton (baby sea creatures) in the oceans.
70% of CH4 is caused by termites, and I don't know how much from swamps and peat bogs.
Most NO2 is caused by friction on water, but if man's contribution via farming is tipping us over the edge, then that means the planet is over populated and we need a cull. Are you prepared to sign off on that?

I was after a link to your scientific study that proves what you are claiming. Do you have one?

Not quite.

Synchronicity? serendipity? Like cosmic snakes and ladders man.

Feel free to research and/or verify/debunk the following.
NB: The article forwarded doesn't confirm or deny my claims, other than gases are expelled from the oceans.
But I am confident that within the next decade the 'Global warming causes oceans to expel CO2, and CO2 is not a cause or even contributing factor of/to global warming' will become common knowledge.
At which time "science" or rather its reputation will be tarnished due to so many of its practitioners preaching the "CO2 causes global warming" gospel. And who stands to benefit from such a scenario? .. Religion. And that could be problematic.

Scientists alarmed at speed of ocean warming

Tom Whiple
London

The oceans are warming at a faster rate than thought, according to the latest analysis of sea temperatures so far.

The vast majority of the extra heat from climate change is stored in the oceans but until recently there were
few reliable methods of measuring it.

Researchers have now combined findings of multiple studies to show there has been a consistent warming trend
even during the so-called hiatus, a 15 year period at the beginning of this century when land temperatures seemed
to hold.

The latest study combined previous estimates to show that ocean warming is accelerating at a rate 40 per cent
higher than was thought.

Researchers sais this showed that, contrary to the claims of some sceptics, the world was warming at a rate that
corresponded to that predicted in climate models.

Zeke Hausfather of the University of California, Berkeley, said that it was almost impossible to understand
climate change unless you could measure sea temperatures.

"If you wanted to see where global warming was happening, look in our oceans" he said.

"Ocean heating is a very important indicator of climate change and we have robust evidence that it is warming more
rapidly than we thought."

It is estimated that about 93 per cent of all heating occurs, unnoticed by traditional meteorological stations.

His paper, published in the journal Science, in part took advantage of a fleet of 4000 submersible buoys called Argo.

For over a decade they have drifted through the world's oceans, diving as much as 2000m before surfacing to provide readings
of salinity, temperature and pH (acidity).

Using the data from these, combined with improved analysis of older measurements, three teams separately estimated the heat
content of the oceans going back over 40 years.

Another group used a completely different method. As the oceans warm, they emit gases. By looking at the oxygen and
carbon dioxide expelled from the oceans since 1991, the researchers were able to independently produce their own estimates
for warming.

Mr Hausfather said studying ocean temperatures was also a better way of understanding climate change in the future.
While surface temperatures are highly variable, seas are less volatile. This means that the trend [is] unaffected by the
fluctuations caused by other factors such as volcanoes and El Nino.

"You can see a far clearer signal," Mr Hausfather said. "Ocean heat content tends to increase year on year. In the oceans
2018 is going to be the warmest year, just like 2017 was the warmest before that, and 2016 before that."
