Chuck Schumer called President Trump’s stand against open borders a “manufactured crisis!”

But less than one year ago Pelosi and Schumer approved funding on a 287 mile long border wall — in JORDAN!

The 2018 omnibus provides just enough funds to build 33 miles of fencing on the Texas border — but it also provides $500 million to help Jordan build a wall and defense line against jihad terrorists trying to cross its 287-mile border with Iraq and Syria.

The omnibus budget says on page 394:

SEC. 9011. Up to $500,000,000 of funds appropriated by this Act for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency in ‘‘Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide’’ may be used to provide assistance to the Government of Jordan to support the armed forces of Jordan and to enhance security along its borders.

Democrats had no problem funding the wall in Jordan.
It was not an “immoral wall.”

And that was only 10 months ago!

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., echoed the idea during a Feb. 3 CNN interview, claiming that a border fence in Israel has drastically cut illegal immigration along its southern border.

"Israel ... had a real problem with illegal immigrants coming in from the southern border, about 16,000 in one year. In two years, they constructed 143-mile fence, about $2.9 million per mile, and it cut that illegal immigration rate from about 16,000 to I think 18. Cut it by 99 percent," Johnson said.

The United States needs to pay attention to Israel and how it has handled security issues, Johnson said.

"They are under a constant state of threat. Threat of terrorism. They've dealt with it pretty effectively. We need to learn those lessons," Johnson added.

Mexico can't be made to pay for the wall, so Americans will pay for it.

Will it work? In the short-term perhaps but in the longer term? I'd suggest investing in ladder manufacturing, tunnel boring machines and small boats, in Mexico. They are sure to be good long term investments...

When will Trump be proposing that they start shooting people who go around the wall? I wonder...
