The worst government in Australian history was without a doubt the tired one of William McMahon (1971-72). That was followed by the stupid one headed by Tone Rabbit (2013-2015). We know this because of what they did and how they acted. We do not know how Bill Shorten's future Government is going to be because it has not happened yet. It is nice though, that everybody seems to have already conceded defeat to the ALP. No one is taking bets on the Tories retaining power. Considering how well past ALP Governments have acted and governed Australia, I think the fears about this future ALP Government will be unfounded. I'm sure Tone Rabbit is already preparing his insurgency campaign against it... Opposition is what he's good at, now isn't it?
