No one ever went to jail for "home invasion" Booby, the crime is "aggravated burglary", which is breaking in to a premises while an occupant is present. Your emotional hysteria is blinding you to the facts. Attempting to divert off the topic by trying to get me banned for no reason wont help you here.

Exactly.
Australia is by far the most easy country to smuggle any shit, even a fucking nuclear bomb. Australia is ENORMOUS and Border Patrol can't cover the whole fucking land. They just need a RHIB boat and moor at some desolate beach and then from there transport the weapons somewhere in the desert by a Toyota Land Cruiser. Easy as shit.
And where there are kangaroos on a beach, you know there are no fucking people there. It's obvious.

There is a shiteload of open water
Lots and lots of rough, unhappy, nasty salt water
Did I mention rough
Most days you don't even bother getting the boat out.
Then there are the mud guppies, basically right across the top end.
They love munching anything that ain't running
There is the wet season, you don't go nowhere when that's happinin
And it's not like just driving down to the shops, it's quite a distance from, well, anywhere to ......anywhere.
And Aussies are somewhat observant
A bug truck full of muzzos or even anyone who don't look right and they will report them.
That is unless someone offers them a bottle of water
Then they disappear,........for good.
Yep, it may seem that we are harmless
But you woukd be surprised

Re: Does GUN control REALLY works?
Australia actually has some of the best means of observing and tracking illegal entrants to Australia's northern waters in the world. It starts with the Jindalee OTH radar system which is able to track objects which are only a few metres in size out, beyond the distance to Singapore. It is one of the few radar systems which are able to track Stealth aircraft, not by directly observing the aircraft but by observing the air turbulence behind their passage. It's range is officially classified and so is it's discrimination but site near Alice Springs, JORN is able to observe the air traffic in and around Singapore with ease.
Then, the RAAF has the Wedgetail AEW&C aircraft. Able to track aircraft and ships several hundreds of kilometres from the radar equipped aircraft. It utilises advanced electronically steered and tracked radar system.
When coupled with patrol aircraft and drones, the RAAF is able to patrol most of the approaches to the Top End quite well.
Then, we have the RAN. Equipped with advanced radars and ECM systems, their ships are able to patrol all along the air-sea gap.
Then we have Coast Watch and Customs and Quarantine which operate aircraft and patrol boats of their own.
Finally, we have NORFORCE and the Pilbara Regiment - composed of patrols of mixed Indigenous and White soldiers, they make sure that if anybody makes to Australia's shores they are tracked and apprehended.
Australia does have a long coast line. It has few inhabitants in the Top End. This works both in favour of the smugglers and against them. The Australians who live in the Top End notice things. They watch and look at things. What might get past the official watchers rarely gets past the unofficial ones and the unofficial ones report what they see to the authorities.
Vehicles get tracked as do people in the Top End. I have taken part in several such operations for Wild Life smuggling purposes. As I said, not much goes unnoticed.

A bigger boat just needs to haul them 50-100 klicks before they hit the beach line, drop a RHIB and a no radar will spot them, and they wouldn't give a shit about salty water when they have a ton of guns and heroin to sell for a lot of money. I know how things work, don't you worry.

HUGE cache of weapons found in a Newcastle house today including a rocket launcher. I can't find a link but the news said he was caught after numerous weapon components were delivered to his house after buying them on the internet.

Re: Does GUN control REALLY works?
Do gun control laws work? NO!A grenade launcher, an M20 machinegun, a gas propelled anti-personnel mine and a "masterkey" 870 shotgun were among a cache of weapons found during the raid of a Newcastle home on Wednesday, police say.
Detectives allege Anthony Raymond Edwards, 49, of Charlestown illegally imported the firearms, firearm parts and ammunition from overseas.
Police allege that, during a short period of time, Mr Edwards bought weapons on 11 occasions from overseas and had been "active in his endeavours to import these items and conceal them from authorities", according to court documents.
The ABF and police detectives then raided Mr Edwards’ home on Wednesday morning, allegedly seizing five long-arm firearms, two sound-and-flash grenades, one gas propelled anti-personal mine, seven gas-propelled grenade-type canisters, various calibre of ammunition, body armour, camouflage gear and a hydroponic set-up with five cannabis plants.
Always easy enough for the criminals to lay their hands on anything and everything to threaten those of us not allowed guns!

When guns are illegal
Only criminals will have them.
It empowers criminals because they know they will always have the upper hand.
My friend in the US has a poster out the front door stating that he has a weapon and will shot intruders on sight.
NO one has bothered him yet.
But in the US you have rights to defend themselves and protect your property.
Unlike us who have no rights.....at all.
