Well it would seem that at least one Labor person has seen the light and has dropped the lies and negative propaganda aimed at Hanson and PHON since 1996, eh bwian.... something sane people would strive for.
Personally I think it is a good thing that Mark has joined because he may be good for the Party certainly he has more real experience in parliament and with a party organisation than anyone else in PHON.
But... I don't think this decision will necessarily be a good thing for him, but time will tell. A quick look at all the negative comments in the Fairfax press today... all non-factual and simply personal bias bTW from mostly LW progressives show either their total dishonesty or baseless bias.
As for his personal issues etc... have you read his book... he may have let his guard down a bit since leaving Labor (where they loved and fawned over him as the new messiah when he was leader), but I think if he tones it down a bit he'll avoid complications and be a problem for both major parties if they continue to pander to progressives and don't start listening to ordinary Australians.

So, the battle lines will be drawn soon. Mark Latham versus Pauline Hanson - who will control the PHONies in NSW? Will we see a repeat of the David Oldfield episode? Will PHONies NSW split from the Federal Party? Will the Federal Party assert control over the NSW Branch? Could be interesting times ahead. So much fun watching egotists fight it out publicly...

https://www.2gb.com/mark-latham-calls-f ... white-men/One Nation’s newest recruit is calling for an overhaul of human rights laws to protect young, white men.
New South Wales leader Mark Latham has unveiled his party’s policy to broaden and modernise the system, which he says discriminates against young, white men.
He tells Alan Jones discriminatory workplace quotas are doing exactly what they’re supposed to prevent.
“They don’t treat a young man on his merit, on his schoolwork, on his university qualifications, on how he interviews.
“He’s ruled out simply because he’s male and, in many cases, because he’s got the wrong skin colour.
“It’s a terrible time in Australia to be growing up as a young white man.”

While I understand your reservations, Bill is still a better bet than ScoMo and his circus of Muppets...at least its better than listening to bill telling us how much money he is going to throw at EVERYTHING...and we will all live happily everafter..
