Anyone not allowed to have a gun will be arrested... no one expects it to all happen magically you know... there will always be criminals... your suggestion?

What I wrote is 100% true.
I've watched Australian crime shows on TV and real people
have to leave Australia to live in other countries because they are under threat of death.
Some of those people were witnesses against organised crime figures
who were given no protection after spilling the beans on gangsters.
Some even had police protection and were still killed.
It happens all the time and as a citizen you have no defense unless you
illegally acquire a gun.
Then - you could spend a long time in jail if you're caught.
Is that really fair?
