Re: 'Caucasian' men
I'm sorry don't call me a liar when the patents exist in the USA for those very inventions, and the "black" people that invented them.
Don't call me a liar when you haven't done any research or read any of the information on the links I posted either you buffoon.

You realise that patenting something does not mean that you invented it right?
Do what you tell others to do and read the links.

Re: 'Caucasian' men
I'll think you'll find most aren't BO and that there are always improvements on inventions over time due to new technologies etc... I think if you read other articles on it you'll find people just hung clothes up on a line in or outdoors. Cherry pick all you like... Oh and where did I mention the rotary engine. oh and are you stating that the US patents office is a fraud/Black Orchid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 17, 2018 1:53 pmI think you will find that many of those you listed are strongly disputed.
Clothes Dryer
George T. Sampson in 1892?
No!
The “clothes-drier” described in Sampson’s patent was actually a rack for holding clothes near a stove, and was intended as an “improvement” on similar contraptions:
My invention relates to improvements in clothes-driers…. The object of my invention is to suspend clothing in close relation to a stove by means of frames so constructed that they can be readily placed in proper position and put aside when not required for use.
US patent #476416, 1892
Nineteen years earlier, there were already over 300 US patents for such “clothes-driers” (Subject-Matter Index of Patents…1790 to 1873).
A Frenchman named Pochon in 1799 built the first known tumble dryer — a crank-driven, rotating metal drum pierced with ventilation holes and held over heat. Electric tumble dryers appeared in the first half of the 20th century.Dustpan
Lloyd P. Ray in 1897?
No!
While the ultimate origin of the dustpan is lost in the mists (dusts?) of time, at least we know that US patent #20811 for “Dust-pan” was granted to T.E. McNeill in 1858. That was the first of about 164 US dustpan patents predating Lloyd Ray’s. See the dustpan patent list.More here ... https://www.counter-currents.com/2018/0 ... ion-myths/Rotary Engine
Andrew Beard in 1892?
No!
The Subject Matter Index of Patents Issued from the United States Patent Office from 1790 to 1873 Inclusive lists 394 “Rotary Engine” patents from 1810-1873. The Wankel engine, a rotary combustion engine with a four-stroke cycle, dates from 1954. History of the Rotary Engine from 1588 Onward

You are being an idiot.
bwian would call you a racist.
me... I do read stuff... perhaps you should take your advice.
multiple sources all with the same claims BO.
patents by inventors are their inventions.
Do you honestly think that people just out of slavery were even allowed to hold patents? I suggest you read the link with the history attached to it.

Ummm no I clearly said that just because someone patents something DOES NOT mean they invented it.
I would grace you with a dozen dunces hats but it is just so blase.

""as that inventors that patent their inventions are inventors..""
Not entirely correct Rors. You can buy a patent doesnt make you the invetor, Michael Faraday invented refridgeration never patented it , He was not interested in the commercialisation of his research

Re: 'Caucasian' men
Oh dear P... got English problems?
I said if you invent something and patent it you are the inventor.
If you invent something patent or not you are still the inventor.
If you don't patent it then anyone can steal your idea and claim they are the inventor...
Now just where am I wrong in that? hmmmm....
The articles all state these people invented specific things... BTW not all are patented by them, but that does not mean they didn't invent them and there are a great many more I could post but didn't.
Your correction holds no credibility/affiliation with what I've been stating. Just as BO's was patent nonsense regarding what my claims were. I am well aware an inventor doesn't necessarily hold the patent for their invention. Example... having worked for IBM we all are forced to sign a contract that says that any ideas etc we come up with whilst working for them becomes the property of the company.
I also suggest you all read the link re the history of "Black" inventors in America. A bit of enlightenment never hurt anyone.
