Some nutter managed to attack the Pope. Why does the Catholic Church keep electing these doddery Old Buggers?

It wasn't the Pope's fault, but I agree. Perhaps it's so nobody stays in power too long - though JohnPaul II was in for a fair while.
The better I get to know people, the more I find myself loving dogs.
