Aussie - you aren't the only one with an opinion around here. What does it matter who was where when?
It shouldnt, the focus on returning this to an 'old PA ' forum has been destructive. And btw when does one cease to be a new and become a bonafide PA member because if it relies on being around on the old PA board, that means the few existing will soon be all gone and then PA ceases to be.

Even the 'new' have been here 2 years almost. Is the focus simply on members from that old PA board from years ago and everyone else will never ever be a real 'Animal' ?

I suppose many would consider it fortunate, but let's not confuse the issue.

Anyway, back to the topic. Would anyone want to run for election? It is unfortunate that no-one thought to check before all this drama began.
What drama? Or do you mean the crap being stirred up by Monk? Further, what did you mean when you posted that word?

I have not left yet. Aussie, I may have been wrong about the names I gave you. A third one occurred to me recently but I assure you it would have been no other names but those I gave you and that one.

Everyone, I join discussion boards to learn things and discuss things. On the odd occasion I hope someone learns something from me too.

Despite Aussie's erroneous misgivings, I am not an impostor. It is not really relevant who I was then, it matters who I am now.

I am much more mature. I do understand Aussie's fear of sock puppets and his emotional attachment to political animal and its history. I felt much the same way about a forum circa 2002.

AiA, Rainbow Moonlight, Hebe, I thank you for your support.

As my account is not deleted as I full well expected it to be, for now, I will stay.

Given the current environment here at PA, senexx, it is not wise or helpful for you to mislead me. I'm the kinda guy that takes what people say at face value, and I am also the kinda guy who gets a tad suspicious about ....... well, to be polite....prevarication. You gave me two specific names, and suggested there may have been others of a similar kind. Nah, Mate there were never any of those at PA, no matter what incarnation. Now, you reckon there was another. And, you wonder why I am thinking, 'bah humbug?'

Not one thing erroneous about my givings. On your own word, you are imposing in the sense you admit you are using a tag here you never used at PA, and there is no way any of those tags you gave me were ever at PA in the seven years I have been here.
I do understand Aussie's fear of sock puppets and his emotional attachment to political animal and its history. I felt much the same way about a forum circa 2002.
You have not understood me. I do not 'fear' sock puppets. My problem is to come to a conclusion about your bona fides, and everything you have said so far on the issue gives me no confidence.

Perhaps, if you posted lots of stuff and stayed out of PA 'politics' for say, six months, I'd feel more disposed to believe you are genuine.

I observe your own Board is serious decline.

I may be able to help you there, in time.

Yes, you ought thank them. I listen to what they say, but senexx, your account has not been deleted because of (a) what they said and (b) I disregarded your request that I nuke you.

So, let's see your contributions to getting this old girl PA in full stride.

I meant unlucky.

How would you know Aussie? You can't even get a copy of your own creative contributions, so how would you know who was a member? Are you basing this all on memory?
My problem is to come to a conclusion about your bona fides
Why do you need to come to a conclusion about other members bona fides? It smacks of control issues.

If, for some ufortunate and unforseen reason, Aussie were unable to continue moderating this site, we would need to have another election. Hypothetically speaking, if this actually happened, who would be interested in running for the job?
So it would read:

"If for some unlucky and unforseen reason, Aussie were unable to continue moderating this site................." etc..

What would be your explanation for 'unlucky?'

Oh, and I luurve this bit:
How would you know Aussie? You can't even get a copy of your own creative contributions, so how would you know who was a member? Are you basing this all on memory?
I know that no-one using the tags senexx gave me via PM have ever posted at any incarnation at PA because I have I have been here for seven years.
You can't even get a copy of your own creative contributions,
Oh, I am working on that, slowly. Problem is, that (almost) the entire recent PA history was sent to you by Mattus, and you, have failed to give it back to us. It was sent to you because I trusted you. Another mistake I made.
Why do you need to come to a conclusion about other members bona fides? It smacks of control issues.
It is a control issue, (something you are attempting on me*) and I make no apology about it. Have you read Monk's Forum, and deepthought's, and Mantra's to remain informed?

*Get thee to your Petition Thread. You don't have the numbers required by your own Constitution.

Soon, I intend to commence a referendum Thread as I am able to under the Constitution, as Exalted Leader. I don't think you will enjoy it.

Aussie, my efforts with my pseudo-property are exactly where I expect them to be. I assure you it is not decline. At least not yet.

The fact that there is PA 'politics' at all speaks volumes. I have not posted much yet and I may not.

Not once have I misled you. I have recalled things long ago from the past.

You make feel your misgivings are not erroneous but I'm sorry to say they are. I could post other stuff but the response has been lacklustre so far.

Please do not make misrepresentations. I did not request that you 'nuke' me. I acquiesced to your request to 'nuke' me.

Why are you thinking bah humbug? Only you can know that answer. I suspect that it is because you are cynical.

If I do stay for long, I am much more likely to get involved in PA 'politics' and thus far you have done yourself no favours.
