Re: Prince Harry
he is highlighting Mental Health.. something that has been hidden away for far too long..
they need someone like him to speak up for them....Diana was followed around like a rock star....so whatever she tried to do was overshadowed by what she was wearing....Harry on the other had is actually LISTENED TOO....
whats wrong with telling MEN TO SPEAK UP....look for HELP it is out there...
ACT AFP lost another member to suicide just last week..... it just isnt talked about...

We already have it
It's called the special Olympics.
Any form of disability is accepted, except trollish of course
No one wants to know trolls.
Especially lying, backpedaling, creepy trolls that back out of bets and oaths.

Re: Prince Harry
We already have the Paralympics.
Prince Harry is involved with the Invictus Games.
The Paralympic Games is a very major international multi-sport event involving athletes with a range of disabilities, including impaired muscle power (e.g. paraplegia and quadriplegia muscular dystrophy, post-polio syndrome, spina bifida), impaired passive range of movement, limb deficiency (e.g. amputation or dysmelia), leg length difference, short stature, hypertonia, ataxia, athetosis, vision impairment and intellectual impairment. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, which since the 1988 Summer Games in Seoul, South Korea, are held almost immediately following the respective Olympic Games. All Paralympic Games are governed by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
The Paralympics has grown from a small gathering of British World War II veterans in 1948 to become one of the largest international sporting events by the early 21st century. The Paralympics has grown from 400 athletes with a disability from 23 countries in 1960 to thousands of competitors from over 100 countries in the London 2012 Games.[1] Paralympians strive for equal treatment with non-disabled Olympic athletes, but there is a large funding gap between Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
The Paralympic Games are organized in parallel with the Olympic Games, while the IOC-recognized Special Olympics World Games include athletes with intellectual disabilities, and the Deaflympics include deaf athletes.[2][3]
Given the wide variety of disabilities that Paralympic athletes have, there are several categories in which the athletes compete. The allowable disabilities are broken down into ten eligible impairment types. The categories are impaired muscle power, impaired passive range of movement, limb deficiency, leg length difference, short stature, hypertonia, ataxia, athetosis, vision impairment and intellectual impairment.[4] These categories are further broken down into classifications, which vary from sport to sport.
Prince Harry is involved with the Invictus Games.
The Invictus Games is an international adaptive multi-sport event, created by the United Kingdom's Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, in which wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and their associated veterans take part in sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and indoor rowing.[1] Named after Invictus, Latin for "unconquered" or "undefeated", the event was inspired by the Warrior Games, a similar event held in the United States. The first Invictus Games took place in September 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, United Kingdom.
In The 2014 opening ceremony was attended by Prince Harry, Prime Minister David Cameron, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark. The event also included a recorded message from the First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama.[2]
The second games opened on 8 May 2016 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World, near Orlando, Florida, United States. The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Harry, First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, former U.S. President George W. Bush and many other dignitaries. U.S. President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth II helped make a promotional video for the 2016 event.[3]
The 2017 games were held in September in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[4] The 2018 games were held in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and attended by both Prince Harry and his wife, the former Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex. The 2020 games are scheduled to be held in The Hague, Netherlands.

Re: Prince Harry
mmmm Harry went to Dubbo to see first hand and to talk to many young people who live in the bush on farms who have probably never seen their mum and dad suffer like they have during this drought...... what would half of them know about drought and its consequences.... only those who one day came home from school and found it had all got too much for their beloved dad.......
why would these kids know anything about mental health and what can be done to help????????..
I thought Dubbo was the pure highlight of Harrys visit....I trust and hope it boosted the moral and courage of all the folks this drought has affected..
we are not all powerful and strong some in fact are really weak when adversity comes calling... but thats when something like this visit can bring HOPE..... and they also find they are not alone....but most of all people CARE and want to help...
what could be better?

Re: Prince Harry
Well kids who've lived through droughts would know plenty about them...
Children are people under 18 years of age cods, I expect many know a great many things and many know about climate and weather and its seems Harry doesn't think adults know about these things.
Dont twist my words to suit your strawmen ok.

Re: Prince Harry
He was in a drought stricken area so, of course, he would talk about drought. He wasn't trying to educate the locals about drought.
He does good work and he cares and shouldn't be put down for that.

Re: Prince Harry
I didn't mention drought or Dubbo... Cods did.
That wasn't my point.
That was part of her strawman.
But given that particulate speech.... if he'd read Dorothea MacKellar's poem or knew anything about Australia he'd have known we are a country of DROUGHT AND FLOODING RAINS... which he showed clearly he didn't.
