Turnbull the Traitor

Post by Black Orchid » Thu Nov 01, 2018 11:34 am

If people thought Abbott and KRudd were butt hurt and vindictive after being knifed you aint seen nuthin yet. Turnbull will take the cake.

After refusing to endorse Sharma in Wentworth citing he "is out of politics" now he can't say enough. Morrison was a fool to send him to Indonesia where he continually spoke out of turn. Now he is about to air his belly aching on Q&A.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has taken a swipe at his predecessor, Malcolm Turnbull, saying he should stay out of politics and will not be representing the Coalition government at any more international meetings.

Mr Turnbull appeared on behalf of the Coalition government at an international oceans conference in Indonesia earlier this week where he also criticised the Morrison government's decision to consider moving the Australian embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Mr Turnbull warned of a “very negative reaction” in Australia’s near neighbour and said in a meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo that no final decision on the embassy move had been taken. He also expressed confidence that the Indonesia-Australia free trade agreement would be signed in a matter of weeks, despite the diplomatic brouhaha.

Speaking on Thursday morning, Mr Morrison said Mr Turnbull would not be conducting any more international missions for his government.

"I got the report back from his visit. The issue of trade and other things was not really part of his [Mr Turnbull's] brief. My view, our government's view about these issues are clear. That's what we're pursuing," Mr Morrison told Sydney radio host Alan Jones. Not really a part of his brief? More like not even a part of his brief.

"I'm always going to act with respect to previous prime ministers regardless of who they are. But I do think the exemplar about how to go about things post politics is John Howard and on Labor Party side it's Julia Gillard. I don't think there is a lot of profit, Alan, in me continuing to go over these issues."

One could be forgiven for wondering if Turnbull was an infiltrating saboteur ... to get the ALP elected ... having begged Richardson to put him on the ALP senate election ticket.

Despite possibly having succeeded in his nefarious mission, I see it as a positive he failed in his long term agenda of water privatisation of Australia's rivers and aquifers for foreign banks.

I've been wary of Turnbull long before he got into politics proper. Admittedly he is a clever individual, as evidenced by being a QC.
He was the "Spy catcher" who caught out and embarrassed MI5 while a lawyer in Britain, for which he was deemed "never welcome in Britain again".

He came to most Ozzie's attention when he hijacked the 'Australian Republic Referendum" ... which got trounced because he morphed the proposal from a popularly elected President (like the French and Americans have) to a politicians' republic where the President is elected by the Parliamentarians.

Despite generally favouring the republic concept I voted "No" for 2 reasons. #1 It's a peoples' republic or none a all (despite the pollies republic saving money on another election cycle) and #2 because I was suspicious Turnbull was using the republic proposal as an opportunity to change 'section 100' of the Australian Constitution, which prohibits the Commonwealth/Fed govt interfering with the rivers ... Rivers are owned by the states.

Then he convinced the Libs to dump a sitting MP (King) and create a quasi shadow ministry (while still in opposition) called the 'Office of National Water Policy' with John Howard's blessing, and Howard's endorsement to take over Lib leadership ... told you he was clever.

At heart, Turnbull's policies while in govt were all pseudo lefty policies, and while a reasonable negotiator, his waffling ultimately proved to be ineffectual.

Yeah OK, he's being spiteful because the rest of he Libs don' acknowledge his right to rule, but don't worry, because even if his antics do result in Prime Minister Shorten (which I think very unlikely) ... Labor once again will trash the country with scandals, rorts, mass migration, people smuggling on an ever bigger scale, plus chase all the talent and productivity offshore. The result? ... One step closer to a fascist revolution.
Which I'm not really looking forward to, but recognise it will be necessary. The saving grace being able to watch the lefty snow flakes have terminal melt downs.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

So much for the Tory Party being a "broad church", hey? Poor ol' Ming must be spinning in his grave. He was always an old-style large "L" Liberal. He created the Tory Party with the idea that (nearly) anybody could be welcomed. It has the sons of Nazis, it has had MPs elected on CPA preferences, it has welcomed Racists, Islamophobes and Xenophobes into it's ranks quite happily. Trumble was quite happy there. It just seems the other MPs weren't. Talk about narrow-mindedness.

Oh, lordie, lordie! Who'd even think a thoughtful reply like mine could be characterised as a "frothing in the mouth diatribe"? Such a shame really. There I was putting into words what everybody sane thinks about what happened to Trumble. Knifed in the back and thrown aside, all 'cause the opinion polls didn't like him. Oh, well, looks like the Tories will be out of government soon enough.

LOL problem is bwian if you truly think that... it's YOU who isn't sane, isn't being honest or is seriously deluded.

Personally I find LW Progs are all of the above.

Turnbull stated he turned the Liberals into the Turnbull Progressive Liberal Party... right up your alley eh bwian.

BTW bwian there is no TORY Party in Australia... do wake up to yourself. :du :du :du :du :du
