EVERY country has a right to decide who they allow over their borders, particularly at this point in time.

Personally I think we should sink the boats, video the drownings and send the footage back to their country of origin.

As for those already in detention, a simple solution would be for every refugee accepted, a refugee advocate is deported to the refugee's place of origin and their assets give to the refugee.

KRudd sent the kids to Nauru. The PARENTS of the kids are the problem. Would you put your kids on a leaky boat to ANYWHERE?

Asylum Seekers can go to their LOCAL EMBASSY (Australian, American or whatever)in their country of origin and REGISTER and do the right thing and wait-until-they-are-cleared-via-health and so forth. Then JOIN THE QUEUE.

Those who PAY boat people obviously are not smart enough to do the RIGHT THING and because of their stupidity, have wasted whatever possessions they had.

The "Caravan" walking to the USA are the same. They are NOT looking for asylum, they are looking to FREE whatever. Not a good time to walk into the USA with WINTER on its way ...

but the last I heard Scomo is waiting for the legislation to pass to preven t those who are leaving Nauru for NZ to then gain entry from there to Aust....he wants them never to be given a visa to enter this country... and rightly so....

the people smugglers would use that as another line to give illegals hope of getting into this country..... we bore the brunt of the people smuggling business NZ didnt....maybe if they did they too would be over it..

this is not a matter of a few hundred women and kids....they are there because they were not acceptable refugees...... and thats what we have to stop....
