Where I used to study, just down the corridor, there is a picture of Archebishop Mannix who's loyalty was questioned because he didn't like the British gunning down innocent civilians in Dublin in 1916. Samuel Marsden, the chief vicar of NSW and a magistrate had the following opinion about Irish and Catholic convicts:

The immigrants who helped build Australia were very different. They assimilated. They came here because they wanted to make Australia their home and enjoy and respect our values.

Of course they did. Muslims also assimilate, despite what you and other Islamophobes proclaim. They become as assimilated as say, the Jews have. However, the Jews have been here for over 200 years and even now, many people are still anti-Semitic in their attitudes towards them.

Proof that their fellow muslims are dobbing them in? Not conjecture. Proof! Occasionally this may happen but I believe it would be a very small number of instances within the whole. People in areas where there are large muslim communities are on alert and would be, by far, the majority of the ones reporting suspicious behaviour.
