Seems Roxy's having/had a phantom pregnancy ... shows the signs, but 10 weeks has past and no pups ... which is good actually.
Was hoping Max was too young to be fertile (was only 7 & 1/2 months at the time) and it turns out he is.
I knew Mastiff type dogs take 3 years to mentally mature (Bull Arabs too) and now I'm advised they take about the same to sexually mature as well.

Anyway, he's turning into quite a hansom brute ...

.The rain's been good ... greened the grass.
Got a bit of hail to, but only little rocks.
Was hoping the wet would bring the pigs back ... had a couple of looks, but nothing yet.
Pig's have been ripping up the ground in the orchards at work (Kolan River runs through the property).
A few years ago I asked the farm owner's eldest son about pigging on the farm and he replied "I do that".
Apparently he's been trying to catch the pigs currently ripping up the farm but has failed miserably.
I put it the the owner's youngest son (my boss) "If your brother can't catch these pigs, how about letting me have a go?"
And I thing it might be a goer ... fingers crossed.

Sunday arvo I was pushing a wheel barrow around towards the front of my block when a police 4WD rolled in.
They had a summons for me to appear in court and I asked "about what?"
Turns out the info I gave Wynnum CIB 3 years ago is being used in the prosecution against Benny fables.

Benny's facing a list of charges and despite the cops having quite a bit of evidence and several witnesses he's pleading not guilty and going to trial.
On Wednesday I appeared as a witness. The 1st witness. I can't comment on the evidence per se but I really made Benny's barrister earn his money.
This barrister tried twisting and outright changing what I'd written and said but I pulled him up every time.
Seems I might be too strong a witness as they've had the case adjourned and are now arguing over the evidence.

I learnt quite a bit about things regarding others involved ... should be really interesting ... in a couple of months.
