Personally I think it was an appallingly dumb question, even if I understand her point.

Her point was in regards to identity politics and the abuse of the progressive left and cultural cringe they inflict upon us and have done for decades.

The white Australia policy had some good points which should not have been disregarded when they went all mushy.

One strong point that has caused our great country problems is that some cultures (emphasis on the cult) just do not fit in.

These should not be allowed to immigrate because they are antithetical to everything civilized and honourable, with the exception of the welfare, they love that to death.
To the point that they often have three or four accounts each.

Actually the Libs basically ended the WAP. In 1966, the Holt Liberal Government effectively dismantled the White Australia policy. Whitlam simply put the lid back on the jar. The Libs under Fraser also brought in Multiculti, not Whitlam.
