I like that one how almost no lines are straight, vertical or horizontal.

It looks ........... twisted in most ways.

yes, it is like the bed is too big, few of the angles are right.

How come there is a chair in front of the wardrobe door ?

He was plagued with mental illness, exacerbated by his chronic use of Absynthe, and I think it shows in many of his paintings. Many are distorted, fragmented and, like Cods said, very childlike.

Art is in the eye of the beholder and Van Gogh never really did it for me.

I can see the suffering in his work black orchid.....he only sold one painting in his life time he died very young...
I think its all there how he saw his life.....maybe a romantic way of looking at it...but I can see his struggle...

I never liked Picasso.

Saw one of his works in France that was very good.
Still don't like his weird ones .

The one I liked was a bedroom scene with a man and a woman, filled with angst, sorrow and need.
It was not 'nice', it was highly charged emotionally.

VVG
Absynthe much over-rated.

His mental state and technique had more affect on his art.

one of the few of his I like.

I like photography as an art form these days too, there are many incredible landscapes taken.
