Re: Help for men in crisis
I have been feeling a little down and out myself for the past few days and that's unusual for me. Maybe it's the planetary lineup at present
Sorry about your work mates. It's a bad time to lose your job leading up to Christmas which is only about 9 weeks away and that is enough to depress anyone all by itself.
Maybe we should hold a pity party *hic*

Re: Help for men in crisis
I have 5 grandsons I tell everyone of them whenever I see them how important they are to me how much i love and care about them
when they do something extra special I go on about it much to their embarrassment....
but to my mind we concentrate on negatives today.....highlight the bad!! very rarely the positive and god.
havent you noticed how we talk about the govt especially if its not our chosen one... .hummmmmm..
boys I feel even need more atten tion[ to their good points] when it comes to puberty, they can and do shut themselves off in the hope
no one can see them....lets try and see the good instead of the negative.....and that goes for everyone....
its so easy to talk everyone down today.... whinge whinge..

Boys definitely do need more attention and positive reinforcement and maybe we sometimes forget that in our every day battles to just live and get on with things.

Re: Help for men in crisis
our priorities are all wrong today.... that goes for every walk in life..
it creeps up on us when I look back and think how simple life was one TV two channels...kids walked two and from school..you went to the doctor twice a year if that.....everything was so much slower.. did you ever go window shopping on a Sat afternoon when the shops were mainly closed...I did it was an outing..lol...Sunday drive would mean looking at grand [we thought] homes.. not out of envy in awe I guess.....
it was a case of doing things together.that didnt cost much.

I used to enjoy the "Sunday drive". The young still do it though and that's good. Both my sons often set out on a Sunday with their girlfriends and pick somewhere nice where they haven't been before and just go.
I get left at home which is good for me too lol.

You now have opportunity to change
Your workmates may have been unhappy and now they have nothing holding them back from changing for the better.
Life is generally shite most of the time
It just make those few moments that are great, even better.
Never give up
Never let it beat you.
Strive for better, always
Prove you are stronger, better, tougher than life.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream
