Re: Whinge thread
We already have 5 tvs but I decided I wanted another one and went off to buy an Aldi 55 inch ultra HD smart LED tv with HDR. Had to wait around for my son to help and when we got to the store we passed 2 couples shuffling out with them.
Then when I get inside they say ... sorry sold out!! They were the last 2! 5 minutes earlier and I would have been ok! *sigh*

Why do you have 5 tv's?
We have two
One in the lounge room
And a spare in the rumpus room for when kids come over and want to play the Xbox.
I don't like the Xbox, shoot em up games bore me.
When visitors come the tv goes off.
But when the kids come over for a while we all sit around and watch movies together.
My eldest likes old English movies (my fault)
And we sit and pick the plot while working out the ending.
My youngest likes marvel movies
My son, tough guy movies
I get quite a variation depending who comes
But we all like terrible movies
Zombi beavers
Sharknado etc
We all crack up while watching them.
Never a tv in the bedroom
That is sacred ground
For my wife and I, that is our palace of love
We don't want anything disturbing our peace.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

I just made a batch of Anzacs and had the oven turned up too high. Now they are a little on the charred side ARGHHHHH!!
I don't have anymore butter to waste making a second batch. Oh well. That'll teach me.

Oddly, Anzac Day doesn't do a lot for me .... none of my rellies went to war. They were doing stuff on the Home Front, I guess. Apart from the fact that they were either too old or too young to join up.

I find it very emotional to be honest.... an awful lot of young men and women are doing their best to keep us safe TODAY.. they wear a Uniform I trust they are proud of and I am proud of them....and I feel we should show that once a year.. its only ONE DAY out of 365...a day of RESPECT
your family members may not have been in the fields nef but those who remained behind did their bit lets not forget that.....even knitting socks was a godsend to those who had none.... and the ANZAC biccy would have been a blessing in the trenches.......you nef have a very good life because of those who went to WAR... we mustnt forget that!

And the freedoms those who fought and died for are disintegrating because we have to erect huge concrete bollards and steel fences at the Anzac Day marches just in case someone tries to kill us on our own special day of thanks and remembrance.
