The function of a modern, liberal democracy is to allow the rights of the majority to dominate while protecting the rights of the majority, Valkie. Australia is a liberal democratic sovereign nation. We make our own laws. Those laws must fulfil a function and work within the framework set out in the Constitution delineated by the High Court. This is all basic Politics 101 stuff, which every citizen should be educated in. That you continually suggest that the Government is "implementing ridiculous laws to protect mentally ill minority groups and terrorist cults" shows just how ignorant you are of how Government works, functions and is formulated in Australia. I would recommend that you actually become educated and knowledgeable.

Poland is not a "guiding light" for democracy and liberal government, Valkie. I suggest you discover the meaning of those words and concepts.

China has no intention of "taking over Australia," Valkie. It is obvious you refuse to learn what a liberal democracy actually is and how one functions. I think you'd be rather horrified at what the PRC has become over the last 40 years. I doubt even you would enjoy living there.
