I've been growing plants for I forget how long .. although till only a few years ago it was often cannabis ... lived in Bundy for 9 years, and town/city water is chlorinated.
My experience is/was that virtually no seeds germinate using town water .. but if you leave it in a bucket exposed to sunshine for a day or 2, almost anything will sprout.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

I got the same deal. Did the piping myself. That's when I decided to compare the real cost. The government rebate covered 100% of my costs. The Mechanic wrote: ↑Sun Jul 29, 2018 1:29 pmunless you got onto the Subsidies Labor Governments were handing out..
I received both Federal and State Subsidies to put in my 5000 ltr tank...
so about $1600 back which cost me $1800 to set up...
I did all of the purchasing and most of the work to install the tank/pump etc... just had to get the plumbers in to put piping in my roof and give me a certificate so that I could claim the rebates...

No, I have no idea why.
It could well be the RH.

It can take 10 years before you start seeing a profit but water tanks last, on average, 25 years so that still leaves you 15 years of free/cheap water.
