How can tank water be far more expensive than tap water? I don't know about QLD but water is expensive in NSW. EVERYTHING is now expensive in NSW.

Where I am, we pay around $15 a month supply charge, and around a buck per 1000 litres And on top of that, the shit falls relentlessly from the sky at this time of year, I have a 5 cubic meter tank attached to the garage to colect water for the stock, even though we are on town supply, When the zombie apocalypse arrives we will be sorted

In NZ nobody owns the water , councils can only charge you the cost of extracting, filtering and piping it to you, If you wish to draw water you need to get resource consent but there is no charge for the water

Sprint. When you paste in a youtube link, drop the "s" from HTTPS to HTTP then it works.
Thanks

Calculate how much the water costs from each system. Compare them. Tank water is more expensive.

And where does the water in the tank come from?
