What they'll think of is when next Council holds a hard rubbish collection spree, they'll threaten everyone everywhere. They'll get in the Media and say things like 'its illegal to pick...' or 'anyone caught will be prosecuted...' and 'we'll get you'. In other words, using the media to menace and harrass the public.

oh you mean next next next.
Ok, I have one of each. A council (cultural) link to the CCP. Or a FEMA spot.
Which would you like?

So I went to the tip shop to buy something. Here are some details:>
Goods are sold as is, working or not, no warranty, no comeback, no responsibility.
- If any item turns out to be stolen, the onus is on the buyer.
-'The Contractor" runs the shop and 'owns' the items and goods.
- 'The Contractor" has an ABN.
- The items and goods come from various sources such as hard rubbish collection,
general waste collection, donations at the gate, and perhaps other free sources of
goods.
- The prices are arbitrary and set by the local boss, and seemingly not placed
from a list, or an RRP. They are generally similar to goods found at junk shops
and OpShops. Some objects have huge prices considering all their background and
condition.
- This seems like a good way to fence goods and items; especially losses from say
stock damage, burgs, and other events involving property. Including any and all
found items.
-I was given a receipt for my item, it had an ABN. I paid no GST.
-The operators of these types of facilities are quite protective of them and at
times hostile to perceived intrusion on their patch.
- On the Receipt: " The items purchased on this property have been disposed of as
scrap by others".
-A statement (on a sign) as to terms of sale. 1) Any [description] of the goods for the
purpose which they are sold is hereby excluded to the extent that Federal and
State laws permit.
