If someone is determined to do something like this nothing will stop them. They will always find a way.

It has nothing to do with gun licences. There are shootings almost every night in Sydney's west and south west within a certain cultural demographic. They all have multiple guns. Do you think they have licences?

I disagree black orchid he would never have had a gun letalone 2 if he had not had that licence.....he tried to join a few pistol clubs that refused him membership because they didnt think he was stable.....now NSW at least does not require a doctors cert of competence or even reliability to get a gun licence........I am horrified anyone who hasnt committed a crime can get one just by joining a pistol shooting club......once you have the licence you can buy a gun legally.....am I amti gun... to a certain extent YES I AM>...for the simple reason..

I feel the licence is irrelevant sorry. Anyone who wants a gun (hell anyone who wants 10 guns) can get them easily enough. All they need is money.

But if you want to focus on the licence then why didn't these pistol clubs report him as being erratic and unsuitable? Even then, what could the cops do? Watch him 24/7 like they have to watch all the muzzies who import the guns?

No I don't think we should sit back and accept it all but what can we do? I see shootings on the news almost every night in Sydney and what happens to most of them? Almost nothing. It's the legal system that needs changing to promote a long term solution.

And the most salient point is that if you want to kill someone you will do it by any means. It wasn't the gun. It was him!
