Go Uber

Post by Super Nova » Thu Jun 28, 2018 9:57 pm

I am now a fulltime Uber user. I used to have to walk into the street running around hailing cabs to be ignored. Takes about 10 to 20 minutes to get one sometimes. I don't bother calling the taxi company, they never answer and i get put in a queue and after 1/2 hour find out they will be an hour.

Uber... car in less then 5 mins always.

Cost... cheaper or about the same as a regular cab here in Dubai. Drivers speak better English and know where hey are going.

GO UBER.

Now a report from London where Uber has one a short term license to operate..... yea.

Given that I live in a rural area I have never used Uber, I don’t even use cabs .
But I do go to the big smoke a couple of times a year, the last couple of years that’s been Melbourne. I’ve been thinking that next time I’m in Melbourne or Sydney I might try an Uber. Although Melbourne’s trams are so good I think I only used a taxi three times the last time I was there.
I wouldn’t even know how to go about booking one, lol, I sound like a country bumpkin.
I will be in Japan next week, but it’s probably quicker to walk around Tokyo than it is to get a taxi or Uber.
