I cannot understand why it is considered as unusual for a new Member to familiarise them self with the Forum. That is what I am doing.

I think a more accurate account would be that some threads start out one way but usually change direction fairly quickly because most members are not in the least bit interested in the original topic

There are a few rules which need to be adhered to forum wide but, apart from those few rules, Sparta is as the forum heading suggests ...

I have been reading and not digging. I really do not understand why anyone thinks that is unusual.
