Negativity on THE meeting

Even Trump has been cautious about what occurred but what I just don't get it the outpouring of negativity.

The lefties big argument is that the Republicans criticised Obama for wanting to meet him and in the same breath are saying Trump has legitimicised a dictator. So what would have been different if Obama met him?

A meeting had to happen and there was no chance an entire plan was going to be tied up in a bow after one meeting.

So why not just except this for what it is, an important first step ?

Someone had to break the deadlock or it would end in another war.

So what if Trump gave a little more. he can reinstate the War Games as quickly as he stopped them. he hasn't given away anything he cannot reverse with a decision. The appearance of doing something first, giving Kim a win at home will allow the process to proceed. Trump is playing a game and I hope it works and leads to NK joining the world and the people benefiting from this.

Also don't forget Trump will open NK up to US businesses to go in, set up, mine the crap out the place ... so America first will benefit from America being first. I bet there will be a nice Trump Hotel complex there on their pristine beaches soon as well.

It is how shit gets done. Let Trump have his chance. If he makes peace, long lasting... then I tip my hat off to him. he knows he has to massage Kim's ego... and he is doing it.
