Just wondering how those aliens get through the radiation belts , Ours as well as all the others they would pass through to get here ,

Close their eyes and hold their breath :thumb

Maybe wrap themselves in alfoil as I hear that is enough to keep out the radiation.

Not according to Mech, Im thinking teleportation or some sort of fabric of space time temperal shift ,,Or maybe the just walked here. Pulled open the tear in the fabric of space time and stepped through . I have seen so many episodes of "Dr who "nothing would surprise me

My Problem?

your problem is that you are an intellectual lightweight who has no scientific evidence as to how we "supposedly" got through the Van Allen Radiation Belts back 50 years ago when we can't do it now in 2018 and who has no critical thinking of your own..
How about they JFDI..ed it.

How NASA Got Apollo Astronauts Through the Dangerous Van Allen Belts
Not all radioactivity is equal.

It's always difficult being the first, especially when you're going into space. The Apollo program encountered many difficulties on its trip to the Moon, ranging from mechanical to astrophysics. The issue of the Van Allen belt and its radioactivity was a particularly serious concern while planning the mission.

Fortunately, it was a problem with a solution, one that involved skirting the most dangerous parts of the belt, and making sure the astronauts got through it as quickly as humanly possible.

Scientists are still learning more about the Van Allen belts. In 2013, researchers were studying how their electrons approach astonishing speeds, near the speed of light. In 2014, a paper was published revealing a barrier within the belt itself. In 2016, a paper looked at the electron rainfall, called drop-outs, that occurs when intense bouts of solar radiation interfere with the Earth's magnetic environment. While scientists have figured out how to get around them, the Van Allen belts still hold a lot of secrets for something so close to home.

How about this as evidence.

Since the late 2000s, high-definition photos taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) of the Apollo landing sites have captured the lander modules and the tracks left by the astronauts.[2][3] In 2012, images were released showing five of the six Apollo missions' American flags erected on the Moon still standing; the exception is that of Apollo 11, which has lain on the lunar surface since being accidentally blown over by the takeoff rocket's exhaust.[4][5]

And the science.

There are two main Van Allen belts – the inner belt and the outer belt – and a transient third belt.[109] The inner belt is the more dangerous one, containing energetic protons. The outer one has less-dangerous low-energy electrons (Beta particles).[110][111] The Apollo spacecraft passed through the inner belt in a matter of minutes and the outer belt in about 1 1⁄2 hours.[111] The astronauts were shielded from the ionizing radiation by the aluminum hulls of the spacecraft.[111][112] Furthermore, the orbital transfer trajectory from Earth to the Moon through the belts was chosen to lessen radiation exposure.[112] Even Dr. James Van Allen, the discoverer of the Van Allen radiation belts, rebutted the claims that radiation levels were too harmful for the Apollo missions.[113] Plait cited an average dose of less than 1 rem (10 mSv), which is equivalent to the ambient radiation received by living at sea level for three years.[114] The total radiation received on the trip was about the same as allowed for workers in the nuclear energy field for a year[111][115] and not much more than what Space Shuttle astronauts received.[110]

There are billions of stars, billions of planets and quite possibly billions of galaxies out there.

To think we are the only planet that fluked a combination of just the right conditions to make life is somewhat concreted don't you think?

But would they be advanced enough to get here,
Would they even want to come
And if they could get here, what would they want?

Every time a civilization finds a less advanced civilization
It either destroys it or assimilates it.
Why would alien races be any different?

If we are ever visited by a superior race.
Bend over all the way
Grab your ass cheeks
And kiss your ass goodby.

Sadly it might just be the best thing for this planet.
I have a dream
A world free from the plague of Islam
A world that has never known the horrors of the cult of death.
My hope is that in time, Islam will be nothing but a bad dream

Sopt on. As Hawking warned... we really don't want to be visited and we need to be careful.

I do think there is in the universe other advanced life but in our own galaxy... we may be the only one that has mastered the science as we have and have the ability to communciate manioulating the eletromagnetic spectrum. We have not heard anyone yet.

think about it, inteligent life can exist but if they are humming along nicely will they become technological like us. If they didn't spend 1000s of years beating themselves up with war, which is the drive behind are major advancements, maybe they have and will not make it.

Space faring science I don't think is a preordained end point for an inteligent species.... particularly if there is no compelling reason.... hell their god may forbid it. We have only been at it for 3 hundred years.... a drop in time.

I tend to think that other life 'out there' would be far more advanced than we are and wouldn't bother with us because we are so primitive.
