I use a CEM fuel cleaner in our cars.

It's good.
Our cars are 10 and 12 years old, any fuel container that is that old gets debris and condensation in it.
Putting their product in our cars has improved them.

........... As LandyAndy suggested, the CEM products - 'Clean Power" fuel additive and FOC "Flushing Oil Concentrate" seem to get very good results.

I use both in my V8 Range Rover with good results.

You can order online at http://www.costeffective.com.au

This stuff is so highly concentrated, it is good value - a little goes a long way.........

......... I was working in cummins Darwin a while ago and a guy with a large overdraft was pinged by the cops for a smokie semi trailer , he was quoted 60k for a new engine. He didnt have it , infact he said he would have to go into receviership . i had usd cem procucts a lot in older worn engines to decarbonise them with great sucess. not what cummins wanted but anyway i new cummins was never going to get his buisness and refered him to the cem website . well anyway about 18 months later i get a guy at a servo while i was filling up just about hug me . the decarboniser cleared the smoke issue and oil burn , got the cops off his back and he was able to get through hard times for long enough to get the new engine . Cem prouducts bought him over 40 return trips from darwin to adelaide. And cummins sold him a signiture series engine complete with chrome rocker cover. So yer buy there stuff ..........

Or. You could just not let your tank get below a quarter?

Who cares what debris on the bottom so long as it doesn't end up in your fuel lines.

:c

Or am I wrong?

I am woman after all, what would I know.

It probably makes little difference how much or little fuel is in the tank.
The fuel pickup/pump is always on the bottom, where all the debris settles
the fuel lines and injectors do get 'stuff' in them.
Humidity gets in the tank everytime you open the cap and comes in with dirty new fuel.

Using this stuff has improved our old cars. They start better, rev more freely, use less fuel
I used it a few times in a few months initially, now once or twice a year
