Well this is kind of morbidly exciting even though rather grim at the same time- I think he did murder her and it's only a matter of time before he is found out- am glad she has been found and been laid to rest-

Update on the Ristevski murder.

Police used listening devices and phone intercepts before charging Borce Ristevski with the murder of his wife Karen, a Melbourne court has been told.

Mr Ristevski appeared via video link from prison for his second court appearance after being charged with the murder of Ms Ristevski, who went missing from their Avondale Heights home in June 2016.

The 47-year-old's body was found in bushland in the Mount Macedon Regional Park eight months later.

On Wednesday defence lawyer Sam Norton told the court legal aid had only agreed to fund Mr Ristevski's defence on Tuesday.

He said Mr Ristevski's financial circumstances were "complex" and took legal aid some time to work through.

Mr Norton asked the court for additional time to work through the brief of evidence. He said it covered a range of topics and was not "straightforward".

"One of the things that is going to take a lot of time is the CCTV footage," he said.

"There's a particular witness who talks about tracking a particular vehicle, that's going to have to be gone through."

Magistrate Suzanne Cameron agreed the case should be adjourned for another mention in a month's time due to the "volume of material and the complexities".

Mr Ristevski is set to face a committal hearing in July which has been scheduled to run for four weeks.

Sarah Ristevski’s testimony could decide Borce Ristevski’s fate

THE shock revelation this week that Sarah Ristevski is listed as Crown witness in the murder case against her father has inevitably led to speculation that she has turned against him.

Sarah has been Borce Ristevski’s most loyal supporter despite the devastating accusation that he murdered her mother — his wife of 25 years — Karen Ristevski.

In the days after the 47-year-old fashion identity vanished from her Avondale Heights home in Melbourne’s northwest on June 29, 2016, Sarah and Borce showed a united front in their public appeal for help in finding her.

The search ended eight months later with the discovery of Karen’s decomposed remains between two logs in bushland off Loch Road at Mount Macedon on February 20 last year.

The weird incident regarding this case I thought was some time after her body was found, a news crew were up in the area near where her body was found and came across Borce's brother.

They even tried to interview him with not much cooperation if I recall it correctly

What was he doing up there was never explained.

I suspect he may be an accomplice!
