Under Herrett’s leadership, the school “promoted and endorsed gender fluidity”, and that former religion teacher Helen Smith, who retired last year, “promoted an Islamic agenda … We were taught that we had the same God as the Islamic God, that Christians are the ones persecuting Muslims, that Jesus ‘was a refugee’ and thus we should have free and open borders, and that Islam was peace and essentially, truth.

She … promoted Islam, gay-marriage and was pro-Hillary Clinton despite her support of abortion.

This is one advantage of private schools. Insane indoctrination agendas, which have been pushed in the public system, just don't cut it.

Fee paying parents just won't allow it.

Yes it is which is why either the the school board listens to the parents or they will take their children elsewhere.

In the public system the parents have no say and cannot just send their kids to another school because they have to be within specific boundaries.

Hence the voice of parents in the private system have more sway ... one way or the other.

im already a little worried about my granddaughter and wonder if I should come up with the money to put her into private school once in secondary school...

I've had some good news today so that is going to become more of a reality than a thought bubble...

I tired to with one of my own daughters doing secondary school when she was having awful trouble but she wouldn't go..

in the end she just wanted to leave school at the end of year 10

with my back against the wall and pushing it uphill.. I let her finish school.. IF SHE HAD A FULL TIME JOB..

SO THAT made her get over 30 hours a week in the job she was doing and she left...

now...

with a second baby and feeling useless in the household.. she's looking into finishing VCE and or becoming a maternity nurse...

I had to explain to her that not everyone lives their lives in a certain order whereby it seems to be the thing that kids do all of their schooling, go to uni, get a job and have kids when they are 35 - 40 and at a higher risk of birth troubles

there's no reason she can't bring up her kids (like in the oldern days) and then go back to do a higher degree.. she's only 27 with 40 years still left ahead in the workforce ...

there's probably no reason she even needs to do VCE... do a Diploma first... get into work and get credits before doing a Bachelor...

we will see..

Or you could put 1/2 that money into an overseas trip with her annually
