I'm having a isowhey shake for mine today.

Yummy.

that is no way to a healthy life or a proper diet.. im afraid...

I wish I could get my mum to eat healthy..

its like she wants to be unhealthy...

can't be bothered cooking a proper meal.. can't be bothered getting meals in from meals on wheels.. "they are shit"

diabetes this and diabetes that..

I told her that I don't want to hear about her diabetes unless she stops eating ice creams and biscuits...

wont exercise...

Thats a tough one Mech ,Type two diabetes Im picking, very treatable, You can take a horse to water but you cant make it drink. Like all addictions, people have to really want to change

I can't prove it..

but I believe my father in his last year or so ate poorly until his organs gave out... liver etc...

I have a feeling he was sick of living...

when he ended up in a small hospital with failing organs they were going to transfer him to a larger hospital the following day for treatment and to go on dialysis ...

he flat out refused...

they said.. ok.. we'll talk about it tomorrow...

tomorrow never came...

and now I see my mother doing the same thing.. but she'll flat out admit that she doesnt want to live much longer..

her mother lived till she was 96.. mum says.. what am I going to do till 96? .. I've done everything I want to do... I don't want to live that long...

so I dunno..

Sounds like she is depressed, You can only do so much to help her, its very sad

families aren't what they used to be back in the day whereby you had 5 or 6 kids and they all stayed in the same town.... especially if it was a small town...

so to get good jobs and have their own families etc... they all end up moving away...

so that leaves mum and dad by themselves...

one of them dies... and then that leave one elderly person in a home all alone with NO visitors...

I have a whey drink 3 or 4 times a week. Keeps my full for 8 hours. I've also been slipping whey powder into daughters milk in the morning.

Leave your dear old Mum do her own thing. She's been around a lot longer than you have.
