Ephesians 6:14-18Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Slept in till 7.30am
I was up around 6am for 15 mins but back to bed again...
Mrs came in after her shower and told me to get out of bed... THE DAYS ALMOST GONE!! YOU'RE WASTING YOUR DAY AWAY IN BED!!
thats what I usually say to her..
shower.. two eggs, tomato on one piece of wholemeal toast...
out to Macca's for a coffee...
as usual.. couldnt get a paper and some little bastard running amuck about the place due to pissweak parents..
Kash... kash... Kash... Kash..
ffs... how did I know it was cash with a K??
she had it tattooed on her neck...
up to thunder point for a bit..
back home and pulled down my tomato plants, hay bales and greenhouse frames...
already took the pum[kins out yesterday along with mowing the lawns... ...
as I was working away on my birthday we had a birthday lunch for me today...
Chips and Dim Sims.. a bit of cake... at that stage I was about to blow...
cuddles with my new baby Grandy boy...
took my granddaughter for a walk down on the rail trail by our river after lunch with the dog...
got a new Apple Watch, 2 bottles of Whisky, large box of Roses Chocolates and a packet of Jubes... the ones I like
travel back down to Geelong where my second home is this afternoon ready for work tomorrow... leaving the mrs behind..
cooking tea now... 6 different vegetables and one sausage while having a little drink of whisky and Diet Coke...
thank you for asking Millie..

Re: How was your day?
The dog barged into my room at 7am. He hasn't been for a walk for 3 days and wasn't taking no for an answer. He literally sat on my and started ripping the doona off. Anyway it was a perfect autumn day for a long walk.
Back at 9, breakfast then drove across town to a build I have a share in to deal with an annoying neighbour who wasn't happy with something. Back home at 2, loaded 1st born into the car and went for a quick swim and the beach was effing stunning. Light offshore wind, crystal clear water and still warm.
Cooked a nepolitana sause with sausages and few veg.....

Lol. Both Gordon's and Mechanics day's make mine look incredibly lazy. Lol
Church, shops, cooked dinner, made muffins for school lunches, shower .... in bed already.
Lol
Probably won't read Origin tonight, its pissing me off. Dialogue getting too predictable and cliche.

I have this drive that if I haven't achieved anything in any one day.. thats one day wasted...mellie wrote:Lol. Both Gordon's and Mechanics day's make mine look incredibly lazy. Lol

I look at my life and look at how many years I have left to live...
and the balance has turned...
I have less years left that what I've lived...
your day sounds a lot like my Mrs Yesterday...
we went out to the shops and stuff and then when I went outside she made and decorated my birthday cake...
it took her ages.. she had music playing.. she was active... she was enjoying her activity...
so although our activities were different... we were both still active...
like you millie.. active but different .. and not less important... well done ..

Re: How was your day?
Love your outlook Mechanic, just wanna tell you something that one of our ministers said a few weeks back, I'll do my best to not sound like a bible thumper ok....
Well he said in his broad German accent that sometimes he's traversing through life at the speed of sound, until he feels a little tug on his arm.
When he stops and turns to see who it is, it's his adoring wife, reminding him to slow down.
It's ok to live and work towards the future, but you gotta remember to live, enjoy the present.
Because if you go too fast, you're gonna miss it.
Sorry, but I always get a bit " thumpish" on Sundays, feeling good as always on church day's.
Considering joining a womans bible study group attached to our church.
Blessings. You both sound so happy, as does Gordon and his wife.
Something really worth slowing down for.
