Bullshit, BO. WA during the boom was receiving over 10,000 immigrants a week from interstate and overseas. You want to see "drowning" come to Perth and it's outer suburbs. When I arrived in Perth (for the second time) over a 12 years ago, it was awash with white South Africans and Zimbabweans. Then the Irish diaspora arrived. Then part of the Greek diaspora arrived. We have had large numbers of immigrants settle here. Or are you suggesting we should only have suffered if we had Muslim and Asian immigrants settle here? Oh, dearie, dearie, me. BO, we have quite a few Muslim and Asians here as well. Funny that, hey. My neighbour is a Muslim. A very nice bloke indeed. The Asians further down the street from Vietnam are fine as well.

Pauline appeals to the lowest common denominators in Australian society - Racism, Islamophobia and the "Politics of Jealousy" as Howard called it - a hatred of Indigenous Australians and their supposed "extra benefits". She and her band of village idiots hate anybody who is educated and smarter than them. They refuse to understand the dangers of Global Warming and so back coal mining. Idiots. Australians in general are better than that. Which is why Pauline only appeals to the fringe.

Last I checked there were over 80 Mosques/Musallahs in Sydney. I doubt we have that many Churches now as most are being sold off.
Even Churches with cemetaries attached are being sold. Guess who too? You don't see that as a bit of an imbalance?

There are 23 Mosques in Perth listed here There are 34 listed here I suspect there more but that is the best listings I've found.

Do numbers really matter though, when any Muslim can pray anywhere, BO? Mosques are merely like Churches - centres where Muslims can gather.

Out of a matter of interest, did you watch "The Mosque Next Door" on SBS-TV? Very interesting, look at a Mosque in Brisbane, from the inside. Very illuminating if you wished to be educated.

There are more than enough churches in Australia. More than enough. Our religious belief overall is shrinking, which IMO, is a good thing. Belief in a sky fairy doesn't do anybody, any good at all. I respect those who want to believe and I recognise that religion has been able to produce art, music, morality, etc. but it must also be recognised that it has produced harm, great harm.
