There's the problem with that statement. "Well balanced people".

Just look at the nutters who hang around these boards for an indicator of how "well balanced" some people are.

Also, my understanding of the science (ie stuff like the article I posted above) is that violent media can cause violence. I will conceed that the individual may need to be pre-determined as such.
It was certainly an eye opener for me

Violence also seems to be more prevalent in the lower socio economic groups.
Exposure to violence transcends age and Socio Economic Status, affecting all levels of income, education, and occupation. Although exposure to violence affects all Socio Economic Status groups, youth from lower SES backgrounds tend to have increased exposure and likelihood of suffering from detrimental future outcomes

The balance comes in the nurture and not necessarily the nature.
Agreed on all points.

What BO said above. I haven't played a violent video game for years but when I did it was more about the action and gameplay and the violence is just silly.

There is no room in any society for violent media like this.

Discuss.
I enjoyed the movie and like the game,

If it's not allowed it gets expressed in black markets!

That is the simple explanation for dealing with a whole host of vice!!

More/less I don't think it's about more or less censorship as much as it should be about the type of censorship.

Ie, I don't believe we should be censoring discussion about what society feels passionate about, though do believe we should be doing more where vulnerable people are being bullied, preyed upon on site's like instagram etc.

Paedophile clans targeting kids on online game site's with chat room's etc.

It's not about how much or how little, it's what and where that needs tweaking.

I think there is a special AFP group who have access to the Internet and, especially, those who download/view child porn. Some people still think that when they use CCleaner and delete stuff off their computer it is "deleted" ...it is NOT. Paedophiles aren't very smart. Nor are retired lawyers, for that matter. ;)

He is astoundingly bloody stupid actually, particularly when faced with very simple logic. How he got a license to operate a tandoor oven is bloody amazing.

Still, plenty of them slip under the radar, and even if it were just one, (which it's not,) it's one too many. Dark web needs destroying.
